The parent is referring to URLs, not the content itself. e.g., Popular network-filtering blocklists hosted on GitHub do include URLs to porn. That seems sensible.

Many library systems do not provide Kanopy to their patrons (such as the New York Public Library), and some participating libraries only offer a subset of the "available" titles. So even if you have access to Kanopy with your library card, you can click "Play" on a title only to discover it's not available to you.

I've had similar bad experiences with MailChimp and Mandrill. Their customer support is very defensive over both technical and account issues, even when you've already done the work of identifying the problem for them.

People continue to use MailChimp because of its marketing halo. They even had a flattering New York Times feature in 2016.

Luckily most emails we send are transactional so new projects are able to use AWS SES, Postmark, or SendGrid.

Many RSS reader services (e.g., Feedbin) and apps (e.g., Reeder for macOS) integrate Diffbot or Postlight's Mercury or similar to scrape the article's full text. I use and recommend both.

If you have nginx installed, you can test nginx configurations like so: $ nginx -t -c <configuration file>

You can't even build Xamarin's sample project without demoing a commercial license, because the sample project is falls outside the app size restriction.
