If the game is fully or even partially unplayable due to an a bug in the emulator, this really impacts the ability for future generations to experience these games, or these modes in these games.
As you said, its fantastic that people care this much.
Anthropic has let its system kill humans, although it happened in a roundabout way which in my opinion, doesn't dissolve their responsibility.
"A computer can never be held accountable, therefore a computer must never make a management decision".
The fact we are drifting away from this every day scares me.
I thought this forum was for intellectual discussion, full of intellectual people. You're a pseudo-intellectual at best.
It's a pain in the ass to put together, pain in the ass to move, pain in the ass to collection. The costs are out of this world and most collectors don't even build their sets, they keep it in the box from 20 years ago. At least with Hot Wheels you can see the car inside even when still packaged.
Comparatively, other sites such as Reddit, Twitter and YouTube just shill content, applications or products. A ton of the posts on Reddit are just AI written ffmpeg wrappers which no one should care about but apparently people do...
The fact that 30%+ of the web relies on their caching services, routablility services and DDoS protection services is the main pull.
Their DNS is only really for data collection and to front as "good will"
Their solution basically just amounts of "Ethically sourced Styles" which still has all the red tape that a normal text2image model has because majority of the data is still unapproved for use in an AI model.
Businesses didn't want to get wrapped up in a pesudolegal model that really has no better legality than base SD.
It's entirely a cost equation right now though.
I do think its all a bit dystopian though.
Take a walk down whatever area has the best night life near you and you will see tons of people wearing meta glasses. It's so common.
The Government collects 51.6 cents per litre on Fuel and Diesel, they'd need to just temporarily cut back on some of their obscene fuel margins to keep everything within steady-state.
The question is, will the Government do so?
You don't go walking into the Amazon Head Office and walk up to the Executives Offices. You aren't allowed, why do you think this is acceptable?
Sneaking into the office (country) and then benefiting seems not right, what am I missing?
NVIDIA has released NVIDIA Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS) and a Frame Generation model, NVIDIA Super Resolution (VSR) being the most popular/well known models. (DLSS is outstanding technology, despite the sometimes misleading marketing).
Nvidia has released countless models:
Alpamayo 1 (Car navigation model) Cosmos-Reason2 (reasoning vision language model) Nemotron 3 (Large Language Model series) Llama-Nemotron (Large Language Model series) Isaac GR00T (VLA Models) Nemotron OCR (Optical Character Recognition models)
Take a look at their HuggingFace Collections, almost 100 different collections with countless models inside each collection: https://huggingface.co/nvidia/collections
They spy on everyone, they just happen to pay US-companies to do the spying to avoid any accountability.
I don't think we should also just tolerate spying on other countries. Why does the average Joe Blogs in Sweden need to be spied on by the US Government?
When you are not confined to a iPhone body, you have a bit more flexibility in thermals, heat and power consumption.
Would there be any chance the A18 Pro in a Macbook clocks higher? or maybe clocks higher for longer?
The US invented it.
I do have a problem with surveillance.
They simply are not of sound mind to understand the consequences of such a transaction.
You should not deserve a job for the rest of your life. You should be homeless and honestly, maybe end your life.
If your CEO supports Trump, that probably isn't the best thing either, although this is 1 million times better than being the tool used to break every laws, developing killing and spying machines.
I haven't been using the service long enough to comment on the quality of the responses/code generation, although the outages are really quite impactful.
I feel like half of my attempted times using Claude have been met with an Error or Outage, meanwhile the usage limits seem quite intense on Claude Code. I asked Claude to make a website to search a database. It took about 6 minutes for Claude to make it, meanwhile it used 60% of my 4h quota window. I wasn't able to re-find it past asking it to make some basic font changes until I became limited. Under 30 minutes and my entire 4 hour window was used up.
Meanwhile with ChatGPT Codex, a multi-hour coding session would still have 20%+ available at the end of the 4/5 hour window.
