>- the 1st, sounding great in Russian, yet hard to translate, is "work energetically like f&cking or f&ck off"

it is a simple "work your ass out or walk your ass out" without the unnecessary slavic macho-bravade of foul words.

Been with DDG for 8+ years.

Let's just admit, that the privacy respecting search engines have a huge fault — a killswitch that they don't own.

DDG isn't investing in their own crawlers so this can happen anytime now. At least Google showed me the picture.

I'm afraid that's the case. Was hoping that native menus meant tighter integration with the Mac, but turned out to be something very different.

I update and the Mac's native sharing is gone. Wondering if the company employs product managers responsible for Mac features (i know it's complex to handle various capabilities for different OS versions) because i assume a storm of negative feedback is coming.

Reasons why i don't feel Slack is a true alternative to emails is that with emails you can print it out and validate the nature of the conversation (BCC ftw by the way). With Slack, any person can just in time edit the message which can lead to really crazy situations, given they are rare, but still semantics is what makes win argumens sometimes.

UPD: any messaging platform that forbids editing is the closes to what we have with formal converations.

I saw Brave bragged brining RSS subscriptions back. Observing a direct link.

To all the humans mulling to play with this library, note that the signal-service-java[0] dependency signald relies upon isn't an officially shipped one. It's a fork with backported features. To me, it makes the library 2-times unofficial as it relies upon an unofficial library itself.

The official implementation[1] hasn't been updated for around 1,5 years.

Nothing really stops Signal from shipping a build w/o a crypto wallet to comply.

Wow! This new COVID/remote culture is crazy. Makes you feel like you're that guy from ED TV[0]. But the most painful thing to me, is that company enforces those activities outside of working hours.
