So?
> In the US for adults 65+ (a key high-risk group in the trial), the ACIP preferentially recommends higher-antigen or adjuvanted options like Sanofi, Seqirus adjuvanted, recombinant high-antigen Flublok, etc as the "best-available standard of care",
Did this recommendation come before or after RFK Jr. fired all members of the ACIP and replaced them with his hand-picked choices? I suspect you already know the answer.
> * The "standard flu shot" Moderna used is likely not one of the above, or they would have said so
They didn't have to. The FDA told them they could continue to use standard flu shot if they wanted to as long as some statements were included in consent forms.
> The idea here is to see if the new shot is meaningfully better than the best existing/approved option for the target demographic, not to see if it's better than a standard shot you give a healthy 20-year-old.
No that's not the idea at all.
> All-in-all feels like a nothingburger.
No, it's not a nothingburger. It's a systematic assault on science and medicine.
> You clipped the first part while the definition was a lot longer including the above TSA can do anything they want escape hatch. Have a good day sir.
Your interpretation that TSA can "do anything they want to" just because the administrator can approve additional methods is grossly incorrect.
Have a good one.
> (4) Screening defined .— In this subsection the term “screening” means a physical examination or non-intrusive methods of assessing whether cargo poses a threat to transportation security.

> Obama supported deporting people all day long, especially criminals, but now believing the existence of borders supposedly makes one "MAGA."
Ignorance, wilful lying, no respect for due process, support for illegal state-sponsored terrorism, lack of empathy are some of the things that makes one MAGA. Not belief in the existence of borders.
What's the number of innocents you're willing to sacrifice to get the outcome you desire? Would you be okay if you or your loved ones are caught up in the messy parts?
Are you willing to spend 37 days in jail to solve violations of public order like this person did? https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025/dec/18/tennessee-ch.... Would you be willing to go further and undergo torture and bodily harm?
Perhaps you're one of those pro-Gestapo people? It's a popular thing nowadays.
Congratulations to you and those folks.
One thing that's helped me is solo hikes which I've done many times before. I still do them for workouts and use them as an opportunity to get bored.

> 4. No syncretistic faith can withstand analytical criticism. The critical spirit makes distinctions, and to distinguish is a sign of modernism. In modern culture the scientific community praises disagreement as a way to improve knowledge. For Ur-Fascism, disagreement is treason.
> 5. Besides, disagreement is a sign of diversity. Ur-Fascism grows up and seeks for consensus by exploiting and exacerbating the natural fear of difference. The first appeal of a fascist or prematurely fascist movement is an appeal against the intruders. Thus Ur-Fascism is racist by definition.
The claim that these the religious fundamentalist groups have nothing to do with anti-vaccine propaganda inflicted by MAHA types is disingenuous or simply poorly informed.

Kind of insane that the American President just made up a lie that tariffs are paid by foreign countries and rest of the administration just went along with it. It flies in the face of any common sense.

What do they care about? Price of groceries? Health care maybe?
Murc's Law - The widespread assumption that only Democrats have any agency or causal influence over American politics.
What would it take for the Democrats to become the party of the working class? Do you think raising the minimum wage, universal pre-k and childcare, paid family and medical leave, ACA expansion, etc. are working class policies?
Either Republicans must be the party of the working class or being "pro working class" isn't necessary to win the elections. Which one is it?
> A bunch of those people voted for Trump (or didn't vote at all), knowing what Trump was. They voted for the guy who at least pretended to care about them.
Tons of farmers, small business owners, federal workers, women who believed IVF would be free would disagree with you on the first part. And for the "pretend" part, you mean lie, right? So do you think Democrats need to start outright lying?
