I use types at work in Typescript and Swift but honestly I'm not very convinced it's worth the hassle in most projects. I feel that if the build tool already can tell me what type I should be using, why do I need to pedantically add them everywhere?
In a lot of cases the taxes are mostly the same just paid to the employees country instead of the companies one.
It’s mostly knowns in administration what companies seems scared of
(write as in write down, not write as invent)
Whats even more difficult is searching through a code base when the documentation isn’t in or near the code. I don’t know any IDE or editor that makes it easy to search though git commit message and source code at the same time.
On top of that, do you review git commit message in code review? Do you aks people to improve descriptions, typos and language in commit messages?
If you’re not able yo scrap what you have you aren’t validating product market fit, you are forcing a product onto the market.
Being platform specific makes it easier to have a higher quality and integration on that specific platform.
Without accounting for that, your comparison makes no sense! Not even mentioning that you’re comparing two very different level languages. A low level language like C would never behave like a high er level language
Accounting for that so much misinformation, propaganda and opinions have been published in the media even back then, the outrage that "these days" things are worse feels a bit short-sighted.
