inflam52··on Ask HN: Is this PIIA clause on future inventions crazy or just me?
I’m more concerned about if I were to join a new company. How would that work? Would I have to disclose that work for 3 months at a new employer?
inflam52··on Web-based editor
So cool! How did I miss this?! I’ve been looking for something like this for a while now. Github has been coming out some really great features but sometimes you have no idea they are even available.
inflam52··on Show HN: WebDen – open-source, PWA JSFiddle alternative designed for mobile
Hi HN, I developed WebDen because the landscape of online web fiddles, bins and playgrounds aren't currently optimized for mobile or tablet. The iOS apps in this space have improved but were limited when this project originally started. I hope this is useful for those who may want to play around with web code on the go!

Thanks for taking a look and for the feedback! Yes, same here...that was the main motivation behind it! I'll definitely add a roadmap to the site (and update repo roadmap too).
inflam52··on Offbase: Static site generator in a browser
I tried to do something similar with a fully client-side static site generator called CMS.js (https://github.com/chrisdiana/cms.js) a few years back. Would have liked to get to the point where the content editor was fully client-side too. I personally like the concept though.
inflam52··on AudioMass – free, open source, web-based Audio and Waveform editor
Great work!!! I've been wanting to do something like this for a while. I'm glad someone is leveraging the web to build a real open source DAW!
inflam52··on CMS.js v2.0.0 Released – Fully Client-Side JavaScript Site Generator
Author here! Thank you for taking a look!

Also make sure you are on editing the config.js gh-pages branch as this is the branch Github uses for hosting. If you want to use the code you have on master, just merge master into gh-pages. If you have any more issues, feel free to email me.
inflam52··on Show HN: CMS.js – Fully Client-Side JavaScript Site Generator
ohhh I see what's going on here. since you cloned the demo, you need to use postsFolder: 'demo/posts' and pagesFolder: 'demo/pages' since they are located inside the demo folder. The demo is setup slightly different than a standard setup since it's in the subfolder.
inflam52··on Show HN: CMS.js – Fully Client-Side JavaScript Site Generator
Right, this is exactly why I'm avoiding using the word "static". I began by using that term but have strayed away from it for several reasons.
inflam52··on Show HN: CMS.js – Fully Client-Side JavaScript Site Generator
Thanks for pointing this out. Going to be adding a polyfill for that!
inflam52··on Show HN: CMS.js – Fully Client-Side JavaScript Site Generator
Yeah that was kind of my line of thinking. This is definitely not ready for enterprise level blogs yet...more along the lines of personal sites/small blogs you want to get up and running quickly.
inflam52··on Show HN: CMS.js – Fully Client-Side JavaScript Site Generator
Yeah, that was kind of my line of thinking. I wanted to originally call it a static site generator but then got a lot of backlash because it was really "static" because of the Javascript.
inflam52··on Show HN: CMS.js – Fully Client-Side JavaScript Site Generator
Thanks for all the feedback! Yeah, this is definitely next on the list of bugs to fix. I definitely respect your opinion. I really looking a way to accomplish this problem from a different perspective using just client-side technologies. It would have been nearly impossible to accomplish this without the aid of Javascript unfortunately (besides just having static HTML of course but that wouldn't be any fun would it!)
inflam52··on Show HN: CMS.js – Fully Client-Side JavaScript Site Generator
Very cool. Thanks for sharing! I never saw this. Definitely going to check it out.
inflam52··on Show HN: CMS.js – Fully Client-Side JavaScript Site Generator
Make sure your config has your Github username and repo name. Looks like it's blank according to the console.
inflam52··on Show HN: CMS.js – Fully Client-Side JavaScript Site Generator
Thank you I really appreciate your feedback! I definitely understand and respect your view on accessibility for those not using Javascript. I was just trying to approach the problem from a different perspective...seeing if there was a way to do accomplish this using just client-side technologies. I'm definitely going to consider looking into fallbacks if they are possible.

Thanks for the suggestion. Looks very cool. I'm definitely going to take a deeper look into this.
inflam52··on Show HN: PluginStash.com– Free directory of 'everything' to build your startup
Love it!
inflam52··on Ask HN: Did your “Show HN” go on to become very successful?
I've shared an side project of mine (simplestoreapp.com)[http://simplestoreapp.com] on here and it has gotten me off to a really good start. Most importantly getting feedback from other users on how to make it better.

I think sideproject is right in stating that "relevance" to the audience where you are sharing is important. Best of luck!

inflam52··on Ask HN: How do I start a teleportation startup?
Step 2. ???
inflam52··on Show HN: Flipboard like viewer for any Reddit's subreddit
very cool idea
inflam52··on Icebergs.io Brings Linux Desktop to the Browser
I agree. It's hard to wrap my head around the pricing. I can use my DigitalOcean and just install a VNC. I see where you are going with this though. I long for a future where you can achieve desktop-like performance in the cloud.
inflam52··on Show HN: Continuo, a simple activity tracker for iPhone
Love it. Been looking for something like this for while.
inflam52··on Show HN: JobTrial – Try a potential fit, before a fulltime offer
Very cool idea. I think this could become a great way for companies/startups to find really great talent.
inflam52··on Show HN: GameTime – JS emulator supporting SNES and GBA
Looks great! Would really kill for some touch support!
inflam52··on Ask HN: Hacker News style site for programming tutorials
+1 to this idea. I'm going to try and start using 'Teach HN:'.
inflam52··on Show HN: Mockups fixed by making collaboration effortless, built with React
