Your robots are exactly what I thought of when I saw this post. What kinds of common and uncommon use cases are you seeing at Tapster?

Good meeting you at the FLL competition last year! -Cody

Hi all! I'm a generalist software engineer with a strong belief in diversity of thought. Learning as much as I can in diverse domains is one of my daily goals. The more diverse mental models I can build for solving problems, the happier I am. I've worked in factories, delivered pizza, done professional lawn care, gone through a dev bootcamp, and worked as a developer at a health startup. I also try to diversify my hobbies as much as possible as well. I like making art with code, building circuits, dog training, exploring aviation, growing basil, teaching kids how to work with robotics, and much more.

I have about 3 years of professional experience, and many more years of hobbyist experience. I have strong opinions, weakly held, and the humility to change my mind according to the evidence as it presents itself.

I'm looking for a role preferentially utilizing Elixir or Python at a company where I would have the opportunity to embrace my generalist skillset and wear a few hats at a time.

infinitybeyond··on Ask HN: How effective is monthly Hire me?
I posted in today's thread and have received three emails from companies so far. All in my local area.

I also included my linkedin and have received a few connection requests, but no messages from any of them.

infinitybeyond··on Show HN: ML From Scratch – free online textbook
I wholeheartedly agree with this. As a software developer without a strong math education, any time I open a "from scratch" ml learning resource, I immediately close it because I don't have an understanding of the math happening in the black box of numpy.

Thank you for the Sentdex recommendation.

I don't know the answer to your question, but I do have a link to the images you're interested in for GOES-16. Not sure if a similar page is available for GOES-17 mentioned in the article.

I am having two problems with your site. In FF the data isn't centered. In chrome and FF I don't see anything in the preformatted code block. Newest version of FF and Chrome on Win 8.1. FF is on the left, Chrome on the right.
