infinitivium··on A Single Div
Would love to see a blog post detailing some of these techniques.
infinitivium··on That Tesla Data: What It Says and What It Doesn’t
This is such a stupid debate.

Batteries aren't that great yet for long range travel.

This has made me respect the NYT and Musk much less for the mudslinging alone.

infinitivium··on Gaming AirBnB in San Francisco courtesy of Rent Control
Good on you. AirBnB should not be allowed to succeed with a business model that supplements people's income in an absurdly high rent market.
infinitivium··on The UK has an entire IPv4 /8 that it isn't using
what if IP addresses were allocated / confirmed by a bitcoin-like network?
infinitivium··on Coinbase (YC S12) seeks to bring Bitcoin to the masses
What advantages does this service provide over bitcoin itself? My suggestion would be to make this very clear, and definitely make sure it is explained on the About page.
infinitivium··on Show HN: Discover books, movies, apps and songs from your Twitter Feed
This is a cool concept. A couple thoughts: the animated guy with the magnifying glass is actually cool for me; however the yellow highlighted titles are not. I can certainly appreciate why using bootstrap is a simple way to dev out a site - but be careful when steering away from the design decisions made by twitter. They tend to be on point.
infinitivium··on Sergey Brin shows off Project Glass - Amazing or Disappointing?
"Don't touch the pad on the side" ..... prototype or not, what kind of usability nightmare is that? You put on glasses by grabbing the sides.. The control should be based on your eye movements or something like a watch.
infinitivium··on Show HN: WebGL Enabler for iOS
This is badass! But, once again something Apple should have already given developers.

Thanks for putting this together, hopefully it spurs them along.

infinitivium··on Why does Apple habitually mistreat developers?
I completely agree - a boycott would never work here. It would have to generate bad PR for Apple - a lot of it. That's when they would look at making changes.
infinitivium··on Show HN: Habit List - my first iOS app
The status bar is literally 4.16% of these screenshots. Ignore it and give this fellow dev some relevant feedback.
infinitivium··on Adobe working on a patch for 'critical' TIFF vulnerability in CS5 software
Adobe has become a troll of the software industry. Everyone dealt with their Flash crap for years, Apple/HTML5/etc finally killed it, and now all they have left is the CS suite. As soon as a better crop of graphics apps comes around Adobe is finished.
infinitivium··on Pwning a Spammer's Keylogger
This is an awesome post! I want to see more of this on HN. There is a mac program called Private Eye that monitors netstat and shows if programs connect to remote addresses. I always run it after downloading a new app so I can see where it's phoning home too
infinitivium··on [dead]
This is just silly. Google should know they are going to get called out on this in 2012.

Also, all of my docs showed up in Drive automatically. Do these terms automatically apply to those docs now too?

infinitivium··on I bought something from a Best Buy vending machine, and it didn't go so well.
This article tries to pin the culprit here as a Best Buy vending machine problem. His problem is at most a vending machine problem, and really just his own mistake. Why would you buy something from a vending machine that is inside a package you can't see inside?

He lampoons Best Buy over a personal mistake.

infinitivium··on Caller ID Made Simple
This is cool, but fix the double request thing if you're going to have a free version...
infinitivium··on Show HN: Tired of entering map directions on Android? I've streamlined it
I have the iPhone version of this app and it is much simpler than typing addresses. Still not a great solution for new addresses, but that may not be solveable with a third party app..
infinitivium··on Only 8+ Years of Rails Experience Required
I need SDFRY devs with 6+ years experience for an upcoming project.
infinitivium··on Adobe Releases Last Linux Version Of Flash Player
Adobe fails to make any headlines that indicate they have any clue at all
infinitivium··on #1 CSRF Is A Vulnerability In All Browsers
Okay, this is a good idea, but how would it handle legitimate requests to other domains?

Issues: - some users would click allow anyway, so it doesn't completely solve the problem - what about apps built using CORS.. etc
