imakesoft··on Show HN: Jovrney.com – Get travel inspiration by discovering new countries
Jovrney.com is my personal project and I wanted to get some feedback. What do you think about the current version and what would make it more engaging or interesting?

I already have a lot of ideas how to improve the service but my main talent is in design, not in development, so the work progresses very slowly.

If someone wants to offer help I would be more than glad to accept it. :)

imakesoft··on Show HN: Read Hacker News Like Pinterest – Built with Vuejs
Sweet! I just think it's too hectic. It refreshes the view too often and I lose my focus.
imakesoft··on Show HN: Select Star from Movies
Very interesting. I'm trying to think about real life applications for this. Where do you get the data? Are you thinking of making it as a public API? :)
imakesoft··on Fewer than 3% of cars sold in the U.S. have manual transmissions
I just love it how Americans are so proud if they can "drive a stick". :D Anyway I have a Toyota Auris Hybrid and it's pretty awesome. It's really pleasant to drive. I guess I'm lucky to be able to drive both: automatic & manual because at least in Europe the automatic prices are way higher in rental cars.
imakesoft··on Show HN: The Nostalgia Machine – Get your childhood jam on
This is awesome! Thank you! :)
imakesoft··on Show HN: Ridiculously over-engineered my blog
FYI: Your blog looks... different than other blogs. Which is a good thing. :)
imakesoft··on Show HN: A minimalistic browser-based game to de-stress
I like it! Only wish is to have a reload/reset button quickly accessible because you need it a lot. :)
imakesoft··on Show HN: DJ in the browser
This is very cool! I wish I would know how to be a DJ. :)
imakesoft··on Show HN: YouTube – Every Second
I'm also curious is the data real time and where does it come from?
imakesoft··on Ask HN: Do you use widgets on Android?
Who's bookmark widget are you using?
imakesoft··on Ask HN: Do you use widgets on Android?
Is it important that the widget looks nice?
imakesoft··on The Estonian president wants a more digitally-integrated Europe
But the biggest problem is that iTunes itself is badly developed? Apple way is that each user has a Macbook which has an iTunes to which user can sync her/his iPhone. Syncing many mobile devices into one machine with one iTunes gets messy.
imakesoft··on How Not to Explain Success
I could write a book "How NOT to be successful" and maybe in some reverse way people could benefit what NOT to do. :)
imakesoft··on Android Instant Apps: Android apps to run instantly without installation
This is so strange that I have hard time understanding it. :) Sounds like a potential security issues to me.
imakesoft··on Airbnb: Building a Visual Language, Behind the scenes of our new design system
Awesome! I'm a big fan of design languages and systems. Mobile & web designers have had too much freedom during the past years. Some streamlining and standards will only do good for the scene.
imakesoft··on Programmers are not different, they need simple UIs
This article reminds me as a designer how Hacker News (and Reddit) could use a face lift. I have a hard time reading the small text and identify in the listings that what's a link and what's not. :/
imakesoft··on Show HN: I couldn't figure out what an Emoji meant, so I made WhatMoji.com
I like it. It's simple & elegant and does exactly what it promises to do. :)
imakesoft··on Is Facebook eavesdropping on phone conversations?
I agree that the nature of the article is bad but still I would not be surprised to hear that Facebook is listening to phone conversations. That's why I don't use it. :P
imakesoft··on Show HN: Ceilfire.com – Online HTML5 Game Maker
Hey wow, this is pretty impressive. Good job! :)
imakesoft··on Show HN: Discover random sites that are delightful, exiting, funny and surprising
http://boogiemarks.net

Some of you might remember that I show cased this site here around 2 months ago. Back then it was purely about bookmarks but thanks to our active users the service can now move to a next level.

New Boogiemarks is not just about bookmarks but also about discovering cool & useful sites. You can still save sites for your personal use or collaborate and delight others with your findings.

imakesoft··on Ask HN: Anyone looking for a cofounder?
I'm a UI/UX designer with a "strong" technical background. I could team up with an excellent developer who needs help with design. ;)
imakesoft··on How i created a lucrative website by accident
What exactly is the lucrative website he created? :)
imakesoft··on Results of Pair Programming Experiment
Very interesting. Thanks for sharing. I would like to see something similar relating to design e.g. Pair designing vs. Solo designing. :)
imakesoft··on Boogiemarks.net is a free online service with modern way of saving bookmarks
Thanks for this. I still think that Boogiemarks is different. I try to really focus on UX and simplicity.
imakesoft··on Boogiemarks.net is a free online service with modern way of saving bookmarks
Thanks for your feedback. This is a MVP and I have lots of things in my roadmap that I would like to do. My main expertise is in design, so I've not yet been able to do all the things I've wanted.

I quickly checked your service. Looks interesting. Maybe we should collaborate and not compete with each other? :)

imakesoft··on Boogiemarks.net is a free online service with modern way of saving bookmarks
Thanks for your feedback. Idea of the service is to easily save links for later use. There is some hidden tags automatically created when saving a link. ;)

You cannot comment a link but you can edit the title or add tags. I use "note" tag for links that I need to check later. It reminds todos 'cos after I've checked the link I remove it.

The date saved is shown when editing a link. The architecture is quite flat and everyone needs to find what works for them. I hope you could register and test the service yourself. :)
