ihaveone··on PostmarketOS is rebranding as Nura
This is a mistake. The original name said exactly what the os was.
ihaveone··on Pixel Watch 5
I think you can get most of that working on a pebble.
ihaveone··on Pixel Watch 5
Pebble Time 2 is still miles ahead being a watch, and only a bit behind being a computer. BUT, it has a sunlight readable ALWAYS on display, really good battery life and is open source. I still don't understand people charging their battery every 2 days or less. It's a problem guys. My Wear OS watches, even my fancy 2 screen one that got about 4 days or so, eventually ended up in a drawer. Never to be used again. Not so with my pebble, where I literally made an automation to remind me to charge it, because I charge it so rarely.

Pebble Time 2 is still miles ahead in being a watch and only a little behind in being a full computer. But it gets way way way more battery life WITH an always on , sunlight readable display. AND it's open source.

Sony just literally stole 500+ movies from PlayStations last week.

FYI; you can give Gemini default preferences which helps some of this. I use the caveman instructions and it applies anywhere I'm logged in, like Android auto. This fixed so many issues.

Once you see this phrase, you know it's AI written.

Recommend everyone return them. Willfully modifying the BIOS, and other identifiers, then threatening the discoverers should tell you what you need to know about Chuwi.

That is super fun, if I had a motorcycle in Cali, I would so do this!

It looks like they could have mounted at least 100 solar modules on top, if not 200. That's 600-1200kwDC, given its flat, at 800kwp/kWh, that means for an hour of peak production, after losses, would do at least 300kwh for the smaller size and 600kwh for the larger size. If each trip is around 1150kwh and takes longer than an hour, more than half of the power required could be generated. As solar modules are solid-state devices, seems short sighted to not slam a system on the roof. PV modules are literally just glass sandwiches with wires and DC to DC battery chargers are very efficient. The weight would also be partly counter-acted by using the modules as the skin for the roof.

They should make a tiny encoded image to save too. Typing something isn't as fast as point and shoot.

ihaveone··on Bible and Quran apps flagged NSFW by F-Droid
Clearly someone 'wants to do something controversial'.

Pathetic. Carte blanc on anything using the word Bible is a telltale sign. A 'I've read these verses' tracker also banned, having contained none of what they object to. Violent video game descriptions not banned. Do it right or don't do it. It's simple.

ihaveone··on Show HN: Fingernotes – handwritten notes which become their own preview image

Holy freaking crap. ALL OF THESE ARE ONLINE. "It's possible" to log in to the first result with the default password.

If anyone wants, perhaps login, change the password and make a new client as the password or something. This is going to get bad FAST.

ihaveone··on After Announcing Plans To Destroy Microsoft Windows, HP CEO Pulls A Gutsy Move
Linkbait. Windows would have to be re-coded, which is easier with open-source.
ihaveone··on Sony Digital Paper e-ink PDF tablet for notes and forms
I want this so bad, I have a Kindle DX that's pretty good but I just want to be able to 'print' directly to it and have it automatically turn on and show it. This is getting there with the pen, I love that idea. They should have it sync back after you annotate it automatically. That's friction free.
ihaveone··on Sony Digital Paper e-ink PDF tablet for notes and forms
Also, I had one; think of the hinge. You can't use it on your laptop in a chair like a normal laptop. Check out the Samsung 700TC, it's 12.2 inches and has a removable 'Asus-like' keyboard with a real hinge. I haven't used it in a while(I'm really liking 8 inches for a tablet) but it was pretty good.
