idclip··on The digital currencies that matter
Well thats a well written piece of propaganda.
idclip··on The digital currencies that matter
Youre right in ways my control of the english language fails to formulate into words.

The most important digital currencies are those that empower to the people. Not fund wars and beaurocracies.

idclip··on Whole body regeneration in marine life
Oh hey, its me as a worm
idclip··on [dead]
Not cancer but MS here. Went through a toxic event of unknown origin, lost 18 kilos in a month - as i regained strength, and managed to actually snapped back inti reality and crawl out of my room to seek help, hospital sent me back home.

In their defense, i couldnt communicate what was wrong with me well.

Health system is a joke and still incapable of dealing with global catastrophes.

Its scary as fuck and may none of you ever need this.

idclip··on Signald: Unofficial daemon for interacting with Signal
Messages dont exactly arrive on time with the iphone client. There seem to be propagation and rekeying delays. Its very frustrating
idclip··on Signald: Unofficial daemon for interacting with Signal

idclip··on Small, cheap spy satellites mean there’s no hiding place
Yeha thats gonna get regulated pretty fast.

Israel is VERY uptight about its airspace and the drones here are basically sharks with lasers.

Good luck, comrad.

idclip··on Microsoft in talks to buy Discord for more than $10B
RIP Discord?
idclip··on Firefox 87 trims HTTP Referrers by default to protect user privacy
Wish i was able enough to help Web servers cull http and be https per default rather than offer complex alternatives that are often hard and multi step to implement.

The truth of all meditations .. there is only up, and down, The rising and falling of transient phenomena ... it seems to be sentient, too! To think, thought is so deeply rooted; matter giving form to matter ... sweat, tears, sadness and joy ... so interlinked with the lowest forms of the blocks that make us all up!

Truly awe inspiring on a grand scale. Its no wonder the ancient greeks attributed gravity to Aphrodite‘s magic .. i honestly find it so fitting; its love all the way down!

idclip··on Show HN: Endgame – An AWS Pentesting tool to backdoor or expose AWS resources
Seems to have been taken down. A shame id have enjoyed reading that code
idclip··on Bitcoin and other PoW coins are an ESG nightmare
I see the dyson cloud becoming Elon’s next big project to help maintain this network. Our energy production is too outdated and primitive.

The same to our legislative bodies, human society is having an anally retentive crises when it comes to technology. The system’s chocked and cant function well.

idclip··on The Queen has more power over British law than we thought
> Yes, monarchy in it's original/natural form is horrific. It's essentially a dictatorship, no different. But I'd money and a ceremonial role can grease the wheels for a peaceful transition is that so bad?

Not saying its bad, just saying they wont do it. Theyre already rich beyond imagining- sadism and abuse are rampant, and the public doesnt seem to care.

Like seriously, how much cash will it take to convince the saudis to go ceremonial? Meanwhile another gay person is hung and a dissident is assassinated. That all said .. seems to be what the region “wants” - displeasure isnt high enough yet for regular folk to demand change.

In arabic there is a saying “the people earn the ruler they deserve”.

Beyond the short term moral qualm .. its just a step in the development of these countries - it could - and i was - worse. Better wiser days will come.

idclip··on The Queen has more power over British law than we thought
Not trying to put you down. I see the thinking behind your rationale, it is also somewhat detached from human emotional and political reality.

Being exposed to the atrocities of /most/ (im no expert) modern day monarchs and being an arab in the middle east, i find it REALLY hard to call what they do cute, or something math and money could fix. These problems, even dänmarks, evolved through strife, injustice and corruption.

Monarchies are necessary as-long as the region needs them .. i see politics more like an evolutionary process where monarchy is part of a nations dev stages.

I actually wish you were right.

idclip··on Performance Impact of Ad Blockers (2020)
Honestly even if they slowed things by 10% .. id take the hit to filter the trash!
idclip··on McKinsey to pay $573M to settle claims over opioid crisis role: source
Heh. Sure ... really? How high were the health costs of that crises and how high were their profits during that period?

Aaaah. What a world...

idclip··on Dante's descendant seeks to overturn poet's 1302 corruption conviction
I believe it is for him ... him and by association his family seem to emotionally need it. Let him Free himself from his psychological prison - even if imagined ... most of us use sadism to try and act out our unconscious violence/justice fantasies .. to use legal means is a step up. Non violent ... i (if in may be so bold as to attribute any significance to my own opinion) commend it!
idclip··on A cloak-and-dagger tale behind an anticipated result in particle physics
Oh i see what you did there and where you come from.

Its actually how inbelieve Elon got successful .. its his physics training.

Ive met physics students in higher semesters ... and they were down right better programmers too (thry built things they used, they really hacked programs together) while we spent our time trying to ... well i dont know what, but somethig wasnt right. This wasnt CS50 though .. just a German uni.

idclip··on Element (Matrix chat app) suspended from the Google Play Store
Sounds like CP ... cp is a real issue when it comes to crypto.
idclip··on VM Manager: Operate large Compute Engine fleets with ease
Aah, i cant trust google services anymore, sadly. More so if critical.

I even treat my own gmail account with resignation these days.

My Picasa, my rss, my google chat.

Am i wrong to have never touched these cloud services?

I prefer dedicated servers even over AWS, too.

Edit: spellink

Edit2: people downvoting me to hell .. i have to defend my internet points a bit here ..

How should i treat these google services if not with this nihilism? Amazon isn't killing products.

Ill admit to liking kube, but mostly because its open source and “out there” where no one can kill it. Google publishing stuff thats 100% in its control sends a shiver down my long-term-service thinking. Add “Fleets” to it and i get a sense of dread at the thought.

idclip··on We Crush, Poison, and Destroy Insects at Our Own Peril
Fair if you ask me.. i practiced extreme meditation and sat with mosquitos one day .. it did wonders to how much i get stung now ..

They still take a bite or two on occasion.. it itches for less than an hour (worst was a week before did this ..) but not like before - its as if they let me be after i let them be.

There seems to be a strange relationship between prey and predator we still haven't understood that yet.

idclip··on We Crush, Poison, and Destroy Insects at Our Own Peril
People keep mentioning what annoys them and how much they want it gone ... people here say its not the job of the average joe yet who is going to be affected? ...

Its all our doing. We will bear the brunt, if not the responsibility. I think some of us will survive whats coming .. most, i fear, wont.
