We weren’t even in the same circles and this was my first good conference, but my own little company that I worked at was full of motivated hackers that were trying to wrap our heads around what you already understood.
You took my comments about on-boarding and documentation very humbly and you knew what I was really saying was: keep it up.
You sure did keep it up.
Those same team mates are here with me using TF at a different company years later, and we’re still pushing left.
Those colleagues just said “it’s art and science”
… and when the art gets ripped away from you, what you described is a natural reaction.
Still, keep it up.
… 11 years going for me. Good on you. I don’t have any other social media accounts. I’ll do my best to join up on this one. Wholesome.
If you want to try to read ASM at speed, please let me know how it goes.
That’s not a dig at you. That’s the real reduction of your question imho. It’s a good question.
Edit: not a low effort comment. This is something you should all read and demand the same of. I consternated on how not to call your regime moronic. It _is_ moronic that you don’t have these basic protections and we keep having to listen to you all whine about that.
Certainly one of my favourite designers! Been on four of the trains he designed. Always a fantastic experience. Highly recommend.
Based on the very “bursty” nature of LoRA, how much does an adversary need to spend to radiolocate it? What’s the threat model there?
(I agree this is all ridiculous from all sides. Might as well join the circus with a cheap comment.)

If leadership won’t bring the same rigour of safety culture - which is mandated by legislation - to security? Don’t bother, just move on.
It’s worth asking what might have happened if the web had started somewhere else, in a place that treated it as a public utility instead of a private marketplace.
Would we still have ended up with the same mess of ads, data collection, and walled gardens?
Maybe America’s real contribution to the web wasn’t technology at all, but the story that innovation excuses everything.
I recommend reading Mark Carney’s writings before taking Doctorow’s stuff at face value.
For example a lot of communities in Canada just don’t work like this. Highly incompatible with this kind of social network, mostly due to the pre existing real social fabric.
And: shout out to Max and Chris because they really got it with OKC in the beginning, which this article doesn’t seem to say anything about other than just to name drop.
It’s not a hospitable place.
I would have loved it if cooling was quieter and less extreme.
The reason interfaces are on the back is that’s the intake side. So, bring a sweater.
Or just go to the other side of the rack to warm your hands back up.

So it's Tuesday morning And my Centrelink hasn't come through
So I pick up the phone Because I've got some abusing to do
But all I get is elevator music, waiting on the line
On hold all the time
All I get is elevator music, waiting on the line
'Til I get a reply
The use of rBGH is approved in the United States. However, many grocery store chains don’t carry milk from cows treated with rBGH. A United States Department of Agriculture survey conducted in 2014 found that fewer than 1 in 6 cows (15%) were being injected with rBGH.

The correct answer is zero. It’s the difference between opt out and opt in. I don’t and can’t shop at your supermarket.
As for pesticides US vs Canada: Chlorpyrifos Neonicotinoids Ractopamine
All being phased out or banned up north. And much more restricted in EU/Internationally. While US use seems to me to be rampant.
Japanese rice costs more _because it is better_. And especially because it’s known by laypersons to be better. If any of the commenters here had any authority because perhaps they could claim they’ve spent a bunch of time in Japan like I have? I’d respect that.
And indeed, we Canadians are subject to politics about our supply management on dairy and poultry. It’s not just there to protect business. It’s there to protect health as far as my contemporaries are concerned.
Low value comment: ME!
Bonus - Server Side Includes changed my life.
Ever have any crazy RF interference stories on your personal gear up there!? I heard from someone that their camera LCD went wild. Tape was fine though.
And, also, those BNC connectors on the combiner… are they spicy?
