We are one of the few Italian web companies with an international vision and purpose. We have an onsite and partly remote, international team and we'd like to add more people who believe in our vision and would like to shape the future of our company.
We currently serve over 16.000 paying customers in 100+ different countries. The company is very healthy and financing its growth independently. You can check out our website at www.iubenda.com. The legal market has been largely untouched by the digital revolution. Our aim is to be the leading providers of online legal services. We started from offering privacy/e-commerce compliance to SMB and so far we’ve been dominating this small niche.
The positions we're hiring for: + Lawyer + Business Developer, Enterprise and Inbound Sales Agent + Senior JS Developer + UI Designer and HTML/CSS developer
Get in touch with me at simon at iubenda.com, I'm looking forward to talk to you
There's a free, yearly or monthly subscription. The subscriptions really just divide a bigger chunk of money into smaller very affordable bits.
If you need the basic, free bit, perfect. Otherwise the SaaS system is in place for us to deliver a sophisticated service at very little up front cost. If you keep using it you get the updates pushed right to your app. The license can be reused on new projects, too.
In the meantime it's important to comply with it with the simplest means possible imo. That's what we're trying to help with.
Also note that (6) sets out slightly stricter standards regarding disclosure:
(6) Disclose whether other parties may collect personally identifiable information about an individual consumer’s online activities over time and across different Web sites when a consumer uses the operator’s Web site or service.
We/iubenda is giving away a special discount to those affected in California, which most of you may be.
First it's in Google's terms, have a quick look here there's an interesting write up regarding this topic that covers it better than I could here in this short amount of time: http://searchengineland.com/how-many-google-privacy-policies...
Secondly GA collects personal data from your users which in most legislations means that you need to inform users about that fact (most notoriously Europe).
These tools were invaluable to actually get it all out there in that short amount of time.
Apart from that it's hard work. A simple guide can be found on kissmetrics that I'll post below. Check out @soundcloud and @david community management to learn from one of the best in the market.

Here's a longer article about the guy: http://eu.techcrunch.com/2011/05/09/exclusive-the-story-of-t...
Yes there is a European version of Techcrunch, even a French one if I'm not mistaken. But they are normally not as interesting in my opinion. However, and that's why I cared to share, they are starting to write more about the Berlin scene. I find it rather fascinating to watch how the startup scene is starting to take off here with SoundCloud, Wooga and ResearchGate being the first stars (If you want to learn something about professional copycats google Samwer Brothers, they've done some 25 exits from Berlin, but I don't think they deserve to be mentioned more than that).
So for me the two million in funding (among them Ashton Kutcher) are sensational news but let me shed some more light on the actual product. As their landing page says already (http://amenhq.com/) it's revolving around opinions and ratings but in a highly semantic and mobile way.
I don't think it has anything to do with color, I think of this team rather highly.
However there's another Berlin startup that does what color does but imo is something I would actually USE: http://eyeem.com. It's an interesting mix in between color and instagram.
@rhizome I hope your question in particular could be answered, although he is in fact also an important part of the techrunch story I linked to in the first place.
EDIT: Ah I've just seen that @rhizome might be referring to the actual article on techcrunch, that left a lot of details out? Were you referred to that article (http://techcrunch.com/2011/07/21/ashton-kutcher-and-madonnas...) instead of this one: http://eu.techcrunch.com/2011/07/22/ashton-kutcher-and-madon... ?
