hxugufjfjf··on Firefox version 157 is round (and how to make it less round)
I did both. Still round.

Update: I figured it out. The article’s snippet has no selector. As rendered it’s just { border-radius: 0px !important; }, which is invalid CSS and gets ignored (the * was probably eaten by the blog’s formatting). Use:

* { border-radius: 0px !important; }

hxugufjfjf··on Expanding the Cyber Verification Program
We’re just getting denied from CVP time and time again by a robot with no explanation as to why. No human support exists at Anthropic so no way to appeal properly.
hxugufjfjf··on Getting the most out of Opus 5.5 in Claude and Claude Code
Do you think they will recommend you things that do not work well?
hxugufjfjf··on Getting the most out of Opus 5.5 in Claude and Claude Code
I agree. Working in cybersecurity, I think I've been able to actually use Opus 5.5 maybe once or twice without triggering safeguards. I can't even discuss findings from a report, or ask for language help on work related text, so its damn near useless for me.
hxugufjfjf··on Getting the most out of Opus 5.5 in Claude and Claude Code
This is how you get banned. I recommend being careful. While OpenAI will often let you do these things, they'll suddenly send you a sharp email saying you are breaching ToS. If you then trigger safeguards once more, its the ban hammer. Losing access permanently to Codex made me feel like a second range citizen ever since.
hxugufjfjf··on GPT 6.1 Sol: Near-Astra intelligence for a fifth of the price
Yeah, the redditification of HN is ripe in these AI related threads.
hxugufjfjf··on AX – Google’s Open Agentic Orchestrator
One thing I quickly learned when I got into GCP was that you must absolutely not try to use that interface. If it can’t be done with the CLI, it’s best to just close the computer and go outside instead.
hxugufjfjf··on Canvas is down as ShinyHunters threatens to leak schools’ data
Yes, many times.
hxugufjfjf··on Why AI companies want you to be afraid of them
Pretty reasonable assumption these days unfortunately.
hxugufjfjf··on Show HN: Learn conflict resolution through a 90-second interactive story
Am I supposed to select the "right" answer or what I would actually answer? Is there some kind of point to this? Either way it’s way too slow even at 2x so I quit after a few questions of not getting it correct (I think?)
hxugufjfjf··on Ask HN: Why are companies so distrustful of remote employees?
Sounds lovely. Wish I had that kind of discipline!
hxugufjfjf··on Claude Opus 4.7
What do you mean?
hxugufjfjf··on Claude Opus 4.7 Model Card
Eeeeh not the best example maybe?
hxugufjfjf··on Claude Opus 4.7
I don’t think I’ve ever seen otherwise reasonable people go completely unhinged over anything like they do with Opus
hxugufjfjf··on Open Source Isn't Dead. Cal.com Just Learned the Wrong Lesson
What an uncharitable take
hxugufjfjf··on Caveman: Why use many token when few token do trick
Oh boy, every example reads like a HN comment!
hxugufjfjf··on Show HN: I built a DNS resolver from scratch in Rust – no DNS libraries
That only lasts for a few minutes until it’s locked and you can no longer delete after that.
hxugufjfjf··on The Claude Code Leak
Agreed. Its so tedious that the top comment section on every HN post the last six months is "this seems be written by LLM" with a bunch of back and forth on whether it is or not.
hxugufjfjf··on Claude Code Unpacked : A visual guide
You’re missing the point. It’s not a witch hunt, but rather a discussion on whether things are too quickly attributed to be AI generated.
hxugufjfjf··on Claude Code Unpacked : A visual guide
Is this what perfection looks like?
hxugufjfjf··on Oracle slashes 30k jobs
You’d never say that if you’ve been on the inside of a mainframe DB2. shudders
hxugufjfjf··on The Claude Code Source Leak: fake tools, frustration regexes, undercover mode
Because they (apparently) keep a bunch of secret features and roadmap details in said source code.
hxugufjfjf··on The Claude Code Source Leak: fake tools, frustration regexes, undercover mode
You can still use Claude Code with API-only.
hxugufjfjf··on My minute-by-minute response to the LiteLLM malware attack
Agreed, as proven quite brutally over the last two weeks and especially the last three days.
hxugufjfjf··on My minute-by-minute response to the LiteLLM malware attack
None that we know of, just like we didn’t know of the attack on xz until we did.
hxugufjfjf··on My minute-by-minute response to the LiteLLM malware attack
I talk to it like I talk to my coworkers. If I’m nice it/they are usually nice back. Maybe it doesn’t matter if I say please but I don’t overthink it and just treat it like any other chat. I consider it a good habit to just always be calm and respectful, not for the machine’s sake but for my own.
hxugufjfjf··on My minute-by-minute response to the LiteLLM malware attack
Maybe you’re conflating Claude with clawdbot? Either way, both can be used for good and evil. Would you make the same argument about knives being a huge net negative?
hxugufjfjf··on My minute-by-minute response to the LiteLLM malware attack
I think the idea is that security scanners ran by companies like Wiz and Aquasec etc will pick this up in that timeframe, not that you sit around and wait for others to get compromised.
hxugufjfjf··on Ask HN: Is it worth learning Vim in 2026?
Don't think so much about learning Vim itself. Learn vi(m) motions and apply them everywhere. Look for software that supports those vi keybindings, for example Vimium in the browser or the vim keybindings plugin for VSCode if that is something you use. You'll arguably be faster at navigating a computer in general, and if not, you can still get enjoyment of how fast you'll feel. If you decide to go down this route, check out vimtutor.
hxugufjfjf··on Untapped Way to Learn a Codebase: Build a Visualizer
Cool project! Would you be willing to share the source code?
