For sure, we're 2 different people. To me, building things and improving things is my leisure and hobby. I find pleasure in having these small success and accomplishments.

100%, that's a really good point of view that I had almost forgotten about. It's a bit like the Ikijai in Okinawa (Japan) where the concept of being retired doesn't exist. It's a concept that we've been sold to.

Interesting, I had not prioritized reading this book, but will definitively do now, thank you for sharing!

We're around the same age, I'm approaching 30, and I've been doing inner work for the last 2 years. And don't worry, I still not feel perfect about everything, as there's a lot of "inner demons" that are creeping in all the time, but it's a work in progress, and I am finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. I was basically trying to fit in the mold of how business has become and I had forgotten who I truly was. Just keep doing the inner work, and slowly the fog start to dissipate and you finally start to see more and more.

I love these two quotes!

@gus_massa I just updated the project to show the nagivation for the first 5 seconds before hiding it, and changed the title of the page.

I'll soon be working on a countdown time until next "event".

I started with this codepen: https://codepen.io/nohoid/pen/kIfto Then I made adjustments to the colors to have them blend better together.

Hey Gus, thanks for your feedback, that's really helpful. As you can see I am also new to HackerNews :P

I'll definitively work showing the navigation at the beginning, that's a really good point.

Indeed, having some tones of color could be interesting.

The rainbow is done in CSS (have a look at style.css), so you can definitively stretch it to any size. There could be some compatibility issues with older browsers. Here's the CSS color shade of the page background: linear-gradient(-45deg, #C5E5DE, #B1E0EC, #A2C5BF, #95D1C4, #6DC5DC, #8ADCB3, #72BDC2, #8A9BB1, #72C1B0, #FED156, #52BAD5, #66CC99, #F99899, #E3B63D, #F1C40F, #06B3DB, #FEBE12, #98AE60, #1ABC9C, #CC89A2, #EE836E, #F39C12, #64AE60, #78AD45, #2C9AB7, #3498DB, #E8755C, #27AE60, #449A88, #E67E22, #16A085, #EA5B4D, #C26787, #E85C41, #2980B9, #0082C8, #527D5A, #E54B4B, #E74C3C, #DC3D66, #167C80, #D35400, #72616E, #547B30, #D83944, #DB334E, #9B59B6, #DB3A1B, #BD3559, #27695E, #C0392B, #345773, #993366, #8E368B, #16528E, #34495E, #782344);

That's much more concise, I like the title of the page that you suggested.

Thank you so much Gus for your feedback, I am really grateful for it! Really appreciated :D
