hsx··on ShareX – Open-source screenshare software
I think that Dropzone [1] on Mac has similar functionality. Not free though.

hsx··on Show HN: Anonymous chat app where every message reveals more of your picture
I agree with the other commenters. I'm not going to login with Facebook when it's an "Anonymous" chat app.
hsx··on Show HN: Trend. In – Tag any photo in imgur
Nice to see some stuff from UNIHACK [0] on Hacker News!

hsx··on Show HN: WhatsMac, WhatsApp Web in a native Mac app wrapper
Looks pretty good :) I've made a pull request for a little spell check.
hsx··on Show HN: Draw a car and drive it, too (Desktop only)
Press D to see the actual car model outline that it uses and extra information.
hsx··on Ask HN: What do you think about my startup, scription.tk?
That was exactly my first thought too. The site itself seems a little unprofessional, as do the services they seem to be providing. The scope is too big, I think.
hsx··on Show HN: FeedHop – The simple, themeable newsreader
Awesome, thanks!
hsx··on Show HN: FeedHop – The simple, themeable newsreader
I've been looking for another RSS reader for awhile and this looks pretty cool, I requested an invite!
hsx··on Show HN: Pagegen, Python static site generator withunlimited page hierarchy
Sorry if I'm ignorant, but what is an unlimited page hierarchy?
hsx··on Show HN: Squatmon, a domain squatting monitoring system
Your SSL doesn't look great in Chrome. http://cl.ly/image/0a0F0v3g0q3K
hsx··on Curl, 17 years old today
That wouldn't be that surprising depending on what they mean. Assuming that Google or Facebook use curl in various applications, 1 billion sounds about right.
hsx··on Show HN: I built an iOS remake of that old windows game SkiFree
Oh man, this takes me back!
hsx··on Ask HN: Any WordPress Developers here that can help me?
I'm not too familiar with WordPress but couldn't you just store the page count in the database and update it periodically?
hsx··on Trapped in His Body for 12 Years, a Man Breaks Free
A warning to those who check comments first: this is a teaser, not the whole thing.
hsx··on Show HN: Instafall – Organize your Instagram feeds
As someone who uses Instagram mostly on their phone but would rather use it on my laptop more, this looks pretty promising. Good job!
hsx··on Putting the Fast in FastMail
I'm so happy that I decided to move to Fastmail this year, definitely a great choice and it's awesome to see how passionate they are about their platform.
hsx··on [dead]
I think this looks great. I love Minecraft but this takes a different approach to it, which is good. I could, however, see Microsoft moving Minecraft in the same direction, connecting servers together and making it more like an MMO..
hsx··on Shout – A web IRC client
I had a discussion with erming about this because I use ZNC. There's actually a /raw command, so you use /raw PASS user:pass to do it, IIRC!

There's also a /quote command.

hsx··on Weechat IRC Terminal Client
Most of these features are pretty useful, so I'll definitely be upgrading from 0.4.3. If you haven't heard so much about Weechat and want to get into it, I wrote a blog post about it quite recently: http://blog.hugo.sx/the-perfect-weechat-setup-2/

I prefer weechat over irssi by a long shot and really enjoy using it :)

hsx··on Show HN: QABounty – Make money answering questions
What happens if someone doesn't mark an answer as answered or choose the best answer?
hsx··on Show HN: Nabaroo, discover and collect media from social networks
I think this is a great idea but do you store these images? If someone were to set the content to private, would it still be available through Nabaroo ..?
hsx··on Show HN: A browser-based IRC client built on Node.js – first Node project
What!? That's completely the opposite to my experience! Essentially, after setting up ZNC to your liking, all you have to do in your client is change the irc server from say, irc.freenode.net to znc.yourserver.com:port and add a password for the server, username/freenode:password, done!

I thought it'd be annoying having to add servers through the ZNC interface (either web or SSH) but it automatically adds/removes them when you join/leave.

In terms of buffers, I generally don't have it set to 2000+, normally around 100 max. I'll just go through the logs if I really need to catch up.

hsx··on Show HN: A browser-based IRC client built on Node.js – first Node project
If you mean not always connected to IRC and that your solution is to run Irssi in a screen/tmux session on a server somewhere, it's considerably easier to use ZNC.

hsx··on Swiss ISP init7 launches unlimited symmetrical gbit FTTH for $73/month
It's giving me an "UncompressableFileError at /"
hsx··on Show HN: Screen recording with JavaScript
This is cool but video should scale to screensize. Yes, I do understand that this is more of a proof of concept.
hsx··on Show HN: Hipster Domain Finder
That's pretty cool, I must admit. Can I ask how you got two letters? Was it just normal registering through the registrar?

I have http://hugo.sx/ myself!

hsx··on 4chan Intrusion Postmorterm
Have you ever thought about re-writing 4chan and making it open source? I think a large portion of the community would be willing to contribute.
hsx··on Digital Ocean droplets manager for OS X
I use shuttle as well as sshpass so I don't have to enter in the passwords (too many to remember).
hsx··on Ask HN: Do you have a side project you want to sell?
I'd be interested in seeing the back end code? What was it written in?
hsx··on Ask HN: What are your favorite videos relevant to entrepreneurs or startups?
