True, but Global Entry and Precheck would.

hnnnnnnngggggg··on How Condé Nast bought and destroyed Pitchfork
Pitchfork is not dead ass now but close. 15 years ago we were in lockstep. I find Gorilla vs Bear best of playlist retains that OG Pitchfork vibe the best.

I love all the comments about the price. It lets me know people really think this looks great and would work for them, but they are just off-put by the price.

Stick to the price, the ones that sign up will be loyal. Adjust later if need be.

Good job. It seems to scratch an itch.

I do appreciate an efficient setup, but irony is even better.

hnnnnnnngggggg··on Iran Loses Its Indispensable Man
It is possible that something like the War of Assassins (Dune Universe, sorry) happens. Iran knows that it cannot openly strike civilian targets less it draws the ire of China and Russia nor could it match the US military in open combat, so that leaves Iran targeted assassinations in response, which their asymmetric units are perfectly fit to do. I'd be concerned if I were a high-level civilian admin or military officer in the US government. The US is not going to glass Teran in response to a high-level US official being killed either as again it would draw the ire of the World community. Expect Assinantions.
hnnnnnnngggggg··on Richard Baldwin on the “inhumanely fast” next phase of globalization
I think what many authors/technologists like Mr. Baldwin overlook are the impacts of Data Privacy and Locality laws will have on automation efforts described in this article.
hnnnnnnngggggg··on The Fastest Growing SaaS Companies of 2018
It makes me sad to see how white those teams pictures are.

Let me be clear, I do not think it is the fault of those companies nor their duty to fill their jobs with anyone but the most qualified for the job. Also, let me be clear this is referring to the US-based companies. The fault lies in those communities where non-whites mostly reside not having the proper vision by their leaders getting children ready for the future. The pictures grossly make that obvious.

Being a non-white tech leader that came from one of those communities I know what it takes to rise above it all. It is not an easy path.
