More propaganda backed by clickbait. Ban news sites please.

Here's a guideline: If different people write the story than the headlines ban the site.

hnisgroupthink··on Lasik’s Risks Are Coming into Sharper Focus
Can we ban propaganda sites from HN? They are almost never focused on technology and the headlines are clickbait.

All "news" sites should be banned. Or you should allow breitbart stories too. They are all the same thing, propaganda for the far left or the far right.

You have to be an accredited investor, for your protection.

If you aren't in the 1% you join the rest of the disenfranchised masses. Have you considered having more children? Many such men in your position find it a good answer when they've been disenfranchised by authoritarians. It provides escape when realizing how the rich have stole the future and made everyone indentured servants to them. Stochastically killing anyone who doesn't fit their slavery requirements through arcane healthcare controlled by the same authoritarians.

Through slavery we find truth. Back to solving problems for rich people for no royalties.

"Kind" and "loyal" are feminine?

Oh this is codifying biases, effectively encoding sexism while pretending to be against it.

The "research paper" is just a collection of biases with no actual good results found(just shoehorned into the pre-determined narrative).

hnisgroupthink··on Suffering, not just happiness, weighs in the utilitarian calculus
Why do you think that experiencing suffering lets you experience pleasure more readily?

I think it just sounds good. Most people who experience significant suffering can be damaged beyond repair.

The shell shocked war vet doesn't necessarily see life as more beautiful afterwards.

Pursuing happiness is a fools errand. Happiness is an emotion. Emotional states maximized are dulled. You get diminishing returns from eating cookies.

Pursuit of happiness is a propaganda creed that falls apart like sand when examined.

Government and corporation are one and the same these days. They graft onto each other and feed one another, like unions and other collectivist organizations.

Why do you think tax money goes to ship amazon packages?

Politics is about expanding power of the political elite while using "improving societies" and other Orwellian language to justify it.

Maybe you should be a little more cynical.

I've been working on several of these publicly since before 2016. Am I immune?
hnisgroupthink··on America's Startup Scene Is Looking Anemic
You can create a token right outside of securities law. DAICO seems like a good candidate. The ambiguity is extra risk, but the SEC says they are only going after ICOs.
hnisgroupthink··on America's Startup Scene Is Looking Anemic
Yes exactly. People harp on cryptocurrencies for their rampant scams and problems. They are correct. But it's still competitive because our current system is embroiled with significant corruption.
