hmind··on Valve Pipeline
Cool idea, but the page needs serious redesigning. Also, for the love of god put 'cursor: pointer;' on the FAQ links (or just make them links)

But yea, definitely awesome to see Valve wants to engage a younger workforce, though we'll see if they actually commit.

hmind··on This Student Project Could Kill Digital Ad Targeting
I don't get it, why is obfuscating consumer data a good thing? If I have to see ads, I'd much rather they be relevant things like hosting providers than random things I don't care about...
hmind··on Why Gov't That Collects Private Data Won't Let Employees Access Public Info
I thought it was more about not polluting the classification ranks. It isn't that the government thinks it can actually shield employees from public information, but actually that when their job entails gathering and discussing information of a certain classification at work, they shouldn't be using or interacting with information (at work) that is still technically at a higher classification level.

Bureaucratic? Yes. Ignorant? Not in the way most people are portraying it.

Is it not this? https://www.simplify.com/commerce/docs/tutorial/index#recurr...
hmind··on Let's deploy via Git
And here I was thinking that this was obvious and most people used something like Capistrano... It's shocking to me the amount of people not using some sort of SCM-based deployment method. =P
