You completely lost me with the extraordinary causation/situation tangent, though I'm not sure if it is because I disagree with you or because I am misunderstanding you.
For minor edits and quick referencing, I'll typically use Emacs. Then some Jetbrains IDE for work/specific school projects. I definitely think I've found a balance that works well for me, but the fact that I'm switching so much makes me unsure if it is best.
Does anyone on here use the Github integration? What do you get out of it?
Similarly, I find it to be insanely frustrating when people ask for advice, but are not willing to listen when they get it. It feels dishonest.
Congrats on getting something out. I had a similar idea that's now too far in the backlog, so hopefully you'll find use from it. It'd be awesome if I could set a mobile chatroom around myself with some choice of radius. While sitting in class I could spin up a room for classmates, and ask questions/chat/pre-poll iClicker answers/etc. Maybe add some pseudo-anonymity. The thought that you don't know who you are talking to, even when they're right next to you, is pretty exciting. Maybe anon-chat roulette with people in the radius? The extrapolations get weird.
I am a college athlete who consistently exercises at a high level, and I ballooned uncontrollably last summer. I started using a strict diet, but that wasn't nearly enough. I'm on the right medication now, and the "mental fog" and dreariness, which I couldn't even tell I was going through at the time, is gone.
Right now this is your most important problem, and you should take every necessary step to fix it. I can personally tell you that everything you're going through is closely related to your hypothyroidism. Good luck!
