It feels like an impossible task. With little bips and bops being relevant across the whole project. One would have to scour through the entire document they are creating, for every bip and bop they want to write down.
Not like LLM could not do this. But, there always comes a point, where some important relation is skipped, or is just part of the tribal knowledge. Someone, somewhere just knows, that if X fails, he has to look in Z, but this fact is not noted in the knowledgebase. So, the re-write always falls apart.
Having experienced all of these methods. I've found myself regularly searching through my vault and referencing older material. While the notes hand-written on a tablet, made it much easier to sift through vast amounts of material I was ingesting at the time. I find myself unable to re-use these notes in any meaningful way. They still exist, I can access them, but I don't find myself going back to them. Old paper notebooks? Most of them are destroyed, lost, forgotten to time.
The knowledge management, with easily indexable and searchable contents, has this invaluable perk of being accessible at a moments notice. Keeping potential of being relevant.
I've considered it as a modification for FWD track performance cars. It is much easier to add a hub into a stiff rear axle. Turns out, that adding an electric motor, which is not part of the main engine assembly, ads way too much complexity in controlling the whole thing and weight to power ratio, that it stops quickly stops making sense.
When you consider that 16GB has become the minimum requirement for modern A+ titles (with the Windows OS & background tasks squating on 4-6GB). Creating such a title might be difficult on memory limited machine.
Unreal had made some improvements in this regard recently, with direct from storage assets loading & stuff.
I believe that the moment an artificial inteligence is going to "receive" a soul, is the moment it is going to be made to sustain itself. Either as a larger package (some bots working to keep an AI farm running) or as an individual (a bot which is tasked with not only fulfilling human desires, but also sustaining itself)

And I have no idea how it could be even remotely possible for a youngling to discover the same things in the torrent of sloppy SaaS.
Do you know of a "hitchikers guide to the FLOSS galaxy" that could teach the ways of the elders, from the ground up?
