Mugabe, yes, initially wanted to redistribute the land wonderfully... didn't totally think that one through.
I just mean to say that integrity and competence are not analogues.

For writing clean code, at least maybe start with the Python style guide.
Ahem, excuse me, but I've been employed. I kinda don't live off Mummy and Daddy and need to eat and pay rent.
May I throw in a gigantic go fudge yourself in there, you elitist prat.

This is a secondary issue. For most non-stats people, I wouldn't recommend the confidence interval as a measure of clinical significance. I'd rather look at the actual distribution of the two effects and view quantiles of the predictive interval.
And, yes, in hypthoesis testing, p-values and confidence intervals are generally interchangeable. All they speak of is the overlap of the sample distribution of means, really.
also, p-values are used to determine the number of effects in a mixed model, or the number of factors in an ANOVA, etc. Sometimes confidence intervals on abstract parameters can be a bit less useful.
1. Teaching people who specialise in context areas (chemists, engineers) a pragmatic way to make a decision from data in the presence of randomness.
2. Automating analyses. (remember your Benjamini-Hochberg)
I'd never actually use it myself. Jeepers, just look at the picture.
1. A photo on your cv. Or it goes in the bin.
2. Birth date.
3. Marital status and children.
4. Every educational achievement documented officially since highschool.
5. Every working position with an official written reference, in deeply codified form, written mandatorily by your boss, who probably inspired you to want a new job in teh first place. The last company I left had a secret ten factor 5 level numeric rating system, which was then translated into the codified text by the personel department.
So that's why my ex didn't remember things. I read about it, but I could never quite put my finger on what the dissociation stuff was.
1. No ability to do mental arithmetic whatsoever.
2. No ability to write standard template library-based C++ code from memory, except maybe cout and cin.
3. Being late. (3 times at least)
4. Being in a different country and forgetting about it.
5. Trying to sell myself because that is what I was told to do and coming across as unforgiveably arrogant. (a difficult balance)
6. When asked about if I minded the data-cleaning work, which could be boring, I joked that if I was worried about being bored I would have chosen a different career. Maybe this isn't even a joke. Either way, highly offended interviewer.
7. Couldn't really speak the language.
8. When interviewing for a position as a bartender, said I could pour beer. Then proceeded to spray the customers with my attempt when I was asked to prove it. (I was young) However, the bar owner then let me work for free as a trainee for the night, and I got the next job.
% of population of Germany in prison: 0.076%
% of population of US in prison: 0.707%
% of population of Canada in prison: 0.118%
I would suggest adding the following.
1. What the poster above said.
2. The reason for the E[(x_{bar} - x_i)^2] choice. Why not E[|x_{bar} - x_i|]? Was it a mathematical convencience? Was it, perhaps, because Gauss had the integral of e_{t^2} from -Inf to plus Inf lying around in a letter from Laplace?
3. It is an equation with a square. Use a square somewhere.
4. The square root of the variance happens to be the horizontal distance between the mean and the point of inflection in the normal distribution. How cool is that?
I recorded myself using snorecycle. Yeah, so, my snoring gets progressively louder, until I stop breathing and wake myself up. :( It's only taken my wife three years to convince me.
I saw jean flares in a designer shop yesterday. Really? Again?
Graphic Design:
Relationship
Transition
Layering
Principles of Design:
Repetition
Opposition: Excitement and tension. Too much is bad. Particularly thick and thin lines in logos.
Priority: The order of the items.
Position: Use a grid. Divide in twos and connect corners diagonally.
Attributes of Design:
Balance: Arrangements so that elements equal each other, not overpowering each other. Can balance objects with each other or whitespace with objects.
Emphasis and Contrast: too little is boring, too much irritating. Plain text with bold or underline in small quantities works.
Rhythm: regular movemet, reduce line spacing or tighten words to increase speed. You can increase the line height, but too much and the eye has trouble finding the next point. The rhythm should fade out, and not end abrubtly.

Yeah, I can do that. Mmmm. And maybe I pass. But other companies won't make me do that...
So, if the aim was screening for people that want to work for Google above all else, then, yes, the screening totally works. But... Google would downsize you and your project coldly if there were financial reason to do so, so...
