I commend you for burning 6 figure losses into Anthropic thanks to their subsidies singlehandedly but I am curious to learn what you've built with this so far, not to be snarky, I just wonder what people actually produce while having these run nonstop.

Your approach seems sensible. Especially the part about discussing concepts to gain understanding instead of having output generated for you to avoid having to think. Unfortunately, most people are interested in shortcuts and thinking less and will ultimately deteriorate in their abilities the more they abuse these tools to skip the learning process.

Yeah I feel the same. That's why I've canceled my claude subscription and code everything by hand again, because building skill and mastery in a craft is fun and rewarding. Having a machine do it for me is neither. Fortunately coding is my hobby so there is zero pressure to optimize it.

At my workplace management is pushing AI, so I am using it in order to establish sensible and thoughtful applications of it and in order to know when to call out colleagues for pushing mindless automation out of complacency or blind obedience.

This is mostly a marketing spin to avoid going bankrupt just a little longer. also as a blue team member guardrails are an abomination and we must transition to open models as an industry, the attackers already do anyways.

LG hardware laying dormant for sometimes 3 years, then installing software through backchannels silently to record your voice continuously (if the monitor has a microphone, which some models do) and taking screenshots of your monitor content every 500ms, uploaded to their servers and likely shared with data brokers and the government qualifies as malware in my book.

This should not only be illegal in the EU but for the entire world. Malware level shit

Too bad you can't let your agent accumulate your gains yet and still have to work out

Agents running as root and data to be secure do not fit well in the same sentence

Yeah these guys will set up claude on their third pc after they realize their second pc keeps hallucinating out code nobody cares about or needs in hopes of staying relevant. I'll just keep coding by hand because I ACTUALLY ENJOY it. What a novel concept these days.

Oh yeah sounds great working in your free time and while traveling to buy groceries to feed yourself so you can continue working.

Yeah good luck being employed in 3 years once this bubble popped when all you do is type some natural language into a phone screen. People being proud of not using an IDE anymore is such a foreign concept to me, who enjoys coding and got into the profession because of the love of that.

You mean you had claude throw together a script because this is heavily generated. Lost interest after about 250 lines, it's just tiresome reading through this incoherent amalgamation
