Oh man, I feel seen :)
But the moment it gets a little less basic, its a different story. I absolutely hate the experience. So I love it and I hate it at the same time. Is it going to replace me? I don't feel like its there yet. And this has been the case for a while now.
There is just too much money and people invested in this that its hard to say anything negative about it. Nearly every VC has rebranded their websites around an AI-driven future. And, to be fair, it’s not a fad—it genuinely works well for many things. But for now, I’m still skeptical about how far it can really go.
We already have many implementations where at a cron interval one could call the GPT APIs for stuff. And its nice to monitor it and see how things are working etc.
So I am curious whats the use case to embed a schedule inside the ChatGPT infrastructure. Seems like a little off its true purpose?
When AI removes the opportunity to connect with people or see other peoples work directly and instead read or consume just generated content seems like a scary sad future.
Just as an example reading an answer from someone in StackOverflow usually comes with the feelings and thoughts about the person who wrote it, why they wrote it, feeling thankful that this one person solved that problem that bothered you. But all of that is going away. I can't upvote their answer, I can't even appreciate them, I won't ever know who supplied that context to AI.
Now you could argue that, with AI, you will never need anyone to tell you anything, because you may never even do anything that needs an answer from someone. I hope that day never comes.
Some companies take advantage of this by asking for stars in return of sponsorship. I have seen proposals that say for a $2000 sponsorship - 2000 stars guaranteed. The way it works is if a participant registers in the event they also have to show proof that they starred a specific repo that belongs to the company.

I guess it could also be associated with views per time period to optimize better. If the video is interesting, people will share and more views will happen quickly.
I am also a user and I love it - and while I don't trade crypto, but they offer the lowest commission in crypto. And my uninvested cash gets a decent interest (5%), and my trades execute reasonably well. It maybe not for a professional trader, but my own experience has been fantastic for what it offers.
Also incredibly thankful that there is no trading fees across many of the brokers now, which I believe was forced by Robinhood. I know of the PFOF controversy, and regardless I hold this view.
I also know I can't change your view, but hope you have a great weekend ahead!
It almost feels like how Councilman Jamm in the TV show Parks and Recreation convinces the crowd of what he wants with some random arbitrary references to real things while mixing it up so much lies.
But I've heard from the VC circle that SBF is raising up to USD 10B by threatening to bring down the crypto industry if he fails. Basically he knows its a house of cards and it can come down if he publishes the information he has.
This is also why, he keeps saying, he will talk about this but "later". It will be an interesting time to watch this evolve.
USDT (Tether) going down is probably the best news ever. Everyone knows they don't have the deposits to back the circulating tether but yet they survive.
At this time it seems like ABG is upset that they can't get the 5% stake and trying to damage the company as much as possible.
1. A lot of the Indians and Chinese are on visas means no right to vote (ex: Twitter CEO) 2. Those that can vote - cares more about paying less taxes than anything else which usually means voting Republican, except if the candidate is a far right fanatic
Here are some of the questions we were looking to get some ideas about:
1. If you are a developer who sells virtual goods through your game, would you be able to share what type of virtual goods do you sell / plan to sell in your game?
2. How do you price these goods? What kind of price range do you use?
3. How are you getting / planning to get virtual goods assets to be sold through your game? Do you source materials externally or do you have in-house designers?
4. Are you interested in having access to virtual goods assets that are easy to be programmatically integrated into your game and sold to your players?
5. Please share top pain points you have (or anticipate having) when looking to monetize your game using virtual goods?
We really appreciate the time you'd spend on answering these. It will really help us out. In case it makes it faster/easier, we also created a survey form and linked that to this post.
Thanks!
No one is disputing the higher death rates but somehow has this feeling that this won't be as bad as other flu incidents?
I felt this was a good reminder that what many fear is going to be true. That 60-70% of population is likely going to be infected. Because that is what happened in the past. It's not going to go away in a few weeks.
Even a milder flu like in 2009 could reach 59 million and COVID-19 can be exponentially worse. That is really the only take away. We need to discuss this in the open to bring that truth to light. I agree with some of the folks here who said many could see it another way and take light view of the situation. What exactly can make them see it differently though?
I agree that Uber or its representatives may contact me by email, phone, or SMS at the email address or number I provide, including for marketing purposes.
Another platform is LinkedIn, where I have been getting a ton of invites from "Blockchain Experts", "ICO Experts" whom I have never heard of. Some of my connections are connected to them but I think that's more of a blind "Accept".
If you connect, I've noticed they immediately start promoting coins or ICO. Massive scam going on here. Hope LinkedIn bans these fake promotions too.
