hajrice··on We built our house for LAN parties (2024)
Great landing page! (if I can call it so?)
hajrice··on ElevenLabs, TwelveLabs, ThirteenLabs
The list goes even further - Many companies are doing "[zipcode/postalcode/country calling code of HQ] labs", e.g. 904 labs, 212 labs, etc.
hajrice··on Hacker News.love – 22 projects Hacker News didn't love
Love the mobile UX. You nailed the scrolling experience
hajrice··on New YC homepage
Visiting HN brings me back when to when I just started my career as a entrepreneur, I look forward to the nostalgic design it has. Have been familiar w/ YC's & HN design since 2008.

New YC page looks great – but it just doesn't feel "yc" to me.

hajrice··on Show HN: Company hiring trends and insights from job postings
I suppose you could do this by tracking when an application form goes live and when it goes 404
hajrice··on Dialtone – AOL 3.0 Server
Landing page design very much gives off that it was vibe coded by Claude. It has those unique specifics of all Claude designs.
hajrice··on Ask HN: What are your predictions for 2026?
- SaaS prices will start dropping.

- Current LLMs being seen more and more like commodities

- We'll start see a LOT more companies making their own LLM

- Capital stops pretending everything is fine & we finally see the stock market reflect what's been slowly bubbling up socially (people 'feeling poorer', trust declining, consumption becoming more cynical)

hajrice··on Show HN: Draw a fish and watch it swim with the others
Would love to hear more info on how you actually vibe coded this as the fishbowl seems incredibly cool
hajrice··on Launch HN: Gecko Security (YC F24) – AI That Finds Vulnerabilities in Code
I imagine a cool way to get users to notice your tool would be to scan public Github repos with many followers, and comment on the code vulnerabilities.
hajrice··on Show HN: AgentMail – Email infra for AI agents
You mentioned one of your use case is outbound (can totally see this being perhaps your biggest opportunity): How are people using this for outbound? As a full-cycle AI sales agent?
hajrice··on Show HN: AgentMail – Email infra for AI agents
Onboarding/signup started off great, but then you just drop in with no clarity on what to do next. A lot of actions possible and I'm unsure what to do first.
hajrice··on Launch HN: Leaping (YC W25) – Self-Improving Voice AI
Impressive demo, just wish I didn't have to request a demo and could just sign up.

Request a demo button also does nothing other than change the text on success - not sure if it even went through...

hajrice··on Show HN: TikTok Influencers Database with Analyzed Audio
Super confusing signup flow. I paid, but didn't get access? hajrice@gmail.com
hajrice··on Launch HN: Inkeep (YC W23) – Copilot for Support (think Cursor for help desks)
We've built something like this at Helpjuice.com - we call it Swifty AI Chatbot. It's pretty cool to see companies that are building a completely open platform that works with all. Nice work folks!

Upvoted – looking forward to supporting you guys more

hajrice··on Ask HN: Is this possible? Sounds too good to be true
From what I could gather, they're also shifting the responsibility of due diligence from a government to a company ?
hajrice··on Launch HN: Shaped (YC W22) – AI-Powered Recommendations and Search
Cool! Any live demos we can try?
hajrice··on Launch HN: Shaped (YC W22) – AI-Powered Recommendations and Search
How does it compare to Algolia?
hajrice··on Ask HN: How to Price a Product
Just tried your product. It's brilliant. 10/10. Super easy to understand – just wish your explainer video actually used the product instead of being those cheap caricature videos :-)
hajrice··on After my dad died, I ran and sold his company (2018)
Very common that the children don't wish to run the family business – I always wondered why. Wonder how much things would have turned out differently had the Dad introduced the company to his son at a young age and "groomed" him to be the future leader of the organization.
hajrice··on Show HN: My free and open-source Scribehow alternative have a desktop app now
there's also wizardshot.com, which is free
hajrice··on Show HN: I made a Chrome extension that writes docs by capturing your screen
Should've expected this from Hacker News. Not sure why it never crossed our mind to do markdown. For now, only HTML, DOC, PDF and Helpjuice knowledge base
hajrice··on Home Lab Beginners guide
Lovely guide
hajrice··on Ask HN: Sales Tips for Solo Devs?
Great landing page - got what you do in less than 5 seconds. You just gotta work on figuring out distribution.
hajrice··on Fastest branchless binary search
I wish all blog posts started the way his does: "You’re a busy person so I’ll first jump right to it. Here it is, the fastest general (and simple) binary search C++ implementation:"
hajrice··on Launch HN: June (YC W21) – Product Analytics for B2B SaaS Companies
Seems a lot more expensive than mixpanel..
hajrice··on Show HN: We built a developer-first open-source Zapier alternative
Zapier is very easy to use - everything you want to do/learn is in the no-code interface page, no need for reading documentation. This (as a developer myself) seems very complex to use. I have to read each integration's library, and also use Typescript (why not JS or something more popular?), at which point, I may aswell just write code and use an API.
hajrice··on Show HN: Dead Acquire – Sell your pre-revenue or dead side-project
Website isn't loading for me.
hajrice··on Ask HN: Alternatives to Atlassian Confluence?
try helpjuice.com
hajrice··on Ask HN: What are the things that you have automated in your personal life?
It is not personal trading gain. The business owns the stock, not myself
hajrice··on Ask HN: What are the things that you have automated in your personal life?
Now you're just debating additional income. However, say your company lost -$10,000. If you profited $10,000 in stocks -- you technically made $0 in profit, which means you still don't need to pay taxes, even on the profit on stocks.

...and if your business is really killing it, and you're also killing it in the stock market, I am certain you won't have a problem paying a few dollars to the US Gov. It's still better than other investment avenues :-)
