hajiss··on What is the vesting period for co-founders in a start up?
thanks for your answer Markstansbury, let say the co founder owns 35% of the company...in a typical start up, when do you allow them to vest the last portion? after a year, 2 years or when the company gets profitable?
hajiss··on Tech guy looking for business person co-founder
my question here is, why would you be thinking about vc's at this point? Start small, look around familiar territory (family, friends, and fools...lol) for raising a small Angel round and also potential biz partnership.
hajiss··on Ask HN: Books that changed your life?
From a start up perspective, Reality Check by Guy Kawasaki is probably one of the most all around no bs start up book out there....
hajiss··on Ask HN: Is it possible to raise money without a working prototype?
one of the important things about start up is that you have a well documented starting to crawl before you walk is a well established tried and true method; My advice is use about 160 hrs for a good prototype. Use that to test if the idea has stickiness in the first place before you invest 1000 hrs.
