It's not very hard to get along with Gmail spam filters unless you're trying to send thousands of mails.
I can relate to wanting to silence something very distressing/aggravating by any means necessary but as a Society we've decided that adults should know better and should be held responsible for such mistake/accident. And I tend to agree. So manslaughter it is.
"Scientific consensus" is taken as gospel by many people. Most on this very board. They don't care to learn how the consensus was reached (usually happens by just ignoring detractors). They just care to feel superior to people outside the consensus because "duh, science".
The path is this: he is known to have shook at least one kid before, so maybe that's that happened again with the kid who died in his care. Doesn't mean there was an intent. Just that he shook too hard or the wrong way. So you ask a doctor you check for signs. Doctor says yup, totally SBS. The end.
At no point did he need to "escalate to murder", so there is no leap needed. It's all very straightforward.
Big tech lowered the bar so much that y'all just have Stockholm syndrome...
No, mail forwarding is SMTP and requires no access to pop/imap. What you're thinking of is the ability of Google to fetch from other accounts using POP.
Once mail forwarding is setup you can lose access to the account and it will still with. In contrast pop fetch will only work as long as you can log in the account.
They can both achieve similar goal (have mail from one account show up in another), but they work in fundamentally different ways
Create a new account just to give Google some money and pray that they'll give you support about another account?
Can you name one that does?
The delays, however, are because Apple forbids third party to stock pile parts, they have to order as needed. So that's the aspect you should attack, if you really want to hate the fruit company.
Doesn't matter if they'll die without it, doesn't matter if you feel they should be forced to have one. The reality doesn't care about your feelings.
Check your privilege, as they say.
I find that hard to believe. Do you have a source? Preferably one that doesn't include zone of wars.
I don't know if all the numbers are accurate but it's true that vidcutter does weird things. I think it extracts ffmpeg to the temp directory on every start for whatever reason (it's not like it's a portable executable, it requires installation so why not extract it then?).
I can't explain why it uses more memory or how they managed to make it look alien despite using QT (so much for accusing electron of not looking native).
In optimal orientation, Voyager's signal peaks at -160dBm when received on the 70m dishes. Now it's shooting 2 degrees off which means the signal misses earth by hundreds of millions of kilometres. What kind of magical high gain antenna do you envision that could still receive it, assuming money isn't a problem?
Frankly before your comment I wasn't going to complain because I saw the tantrum you threw when people corrected you on the usage of "bricked" but maybe next time spell the month to avoid ambiguity.
Likening the situation to having no safety switch on guns is simply absurd and an appeal to emotion.
Firefox refuses to implement pwa. Chrome has pwas but they're not isolated.
Apple is the only one with sane pwa but somehow they're the worst and are totally sabotaging PWAs because something something walled garden?
And yet you seem to be really confused about the difference between DNS and a domain name registration.
Curious.
That tends to happen when there's an exclusive club, people want to peak in. It is, in no way, an indication of the quality of the platform.
> the waves of repugnant users or miserably overbaked features.
That tends to happen when there's hardly any users at all. The "repugnant" or "normals" will flock in all the same, if the platform ever takes off.
> the utter lack of ads is delightful.
That tends to happen in all pre-revenue startups. Twitter was ads-free for years.
1. Some HN users might/could have been personally inconvenienced by OP's action and they prefer resenting him rather than GitHub for whatever reason
2. Many HN users get paid a lot to work on SaaS themselves, so seeing a peer (however big it is) get abused for (what appears to be) entertainment is terrifying to them
