When was the last time Pakistan elected an Islamist government? The last PPP government was pretty secular and the current one is also in the middle if not purely secular. The only time a truly Islamist government was formed in Pakistan was when US puppet dictator Zia ul Haq took over to fight the commies in Afghanistan. Pakistan has many different Islamist parties but they struggle to get even a handful of seats.

I fail to see a competitive edge for this company? If providing uncapped internet is profitable at those rates, can't the existing telecom providers just start offering uncapped plans? That renders the whole point of this company moot.

That is completely false. Just a Google search will reveal to you that dozens of new antibiotics have been found since but they didn't last long. BTW, Penicillin also lasted less than a year before bacteria developed resistance to it.

I used to be a very overconfident, arrogant, extroverted asshole but after a while in depression I started to look inwards and recovered a totally different person. I am now more empathetic, more emotional, introverted and hopefully not an asshole anymore. I do really believe that strong stimuli like depression can trigger lasting changes in your personality.

Appears to be really hard to pull off. How many hours of training does a person need to achieve let's say 20wpm?

I've honestly tried hard trying to use the Linux subsystem but I always end up hitting a roadblock because of some feature they don't support yet. Recently I tried installing postgres 9.5 and failed. There is also no sync between Windows files and those in Linux. Additionally so far I haven't seen a single good terminal emulator in Windows with the looks and features of Pantheon or iterm.

Anyone interested in hiring a remote backend engineer from the other end of the world? I'm from Pakistan and due to some very unfortunate circumstances it is extremely hard to get a work VISA for most countries. Lots of companies I've contacted that do remote hiring seem to hire from within a certain radius of timezones.

If anyone needs a backend engineer, I have just above a year of experience working at a prominent startup. The startup mostly has computer vision people with no engineering experience so I practically built their analytics platform, the backend for their dashboard and processing pipeline, and some VR/AR applications in Unity. I'm on that coursera course too! The course is pretty basic though. It'll help you get the concepts but there's too much spoon feeding in there to make you good enough to compete with people with MS and PhDs. Also that course doesn't cover deep learning and you should definitely study that.

Manuscript. What if instead of pain-stakingly coding an API backend while having to chose the web framework, language, libraries etc, we could just describe the API and its routes as a set of operations that could be implemented by any language, any framework, using any set of libraries.

What if you could build an API free of bugs on the first try? What if instead of using a laptop or a desktop, you could build a custom API from your smartphone? What if you could just build your API once and it could get faster automatically as implementations improve performance?

I believe all of the above is possible and manuscript is my attempt to bring this dream to life.
