gps408··on Lisp implemented in under 1K of JavaScript
Thanks for responding, man. That's my point though. There is no cons building block in this lisp. I don't think (1 2 . 3) can be represented in it so having the notation for it makes no sense.

Would dotted pair notation make sense for this lisp where lists are arrays, not linked cons cells?

Actually they only have the latest git snapshot available from the main page. It's not even RC2.

> This is the part where they are going to need a bunch of money to ramp up

What makes you say that? I've not seen anything about them needing money. From the FAQ:

Are you accepting pre-orders?

No. We are adequately funded, and don’t want to take your money until we have finished hardware.

The Klingon Dictionary is very good at explaining grammatical concepts. It made me interested in how language worked. After reading it I was able to understand a French grammar book and go from getting an E in my French GCSE mock exam to a B in the final a couple of months later. I went on to get a degree in French (which I never used but that's beside the point).

gps408··on De-chunkifying Sequences in Clojure
The chunking behaviour is transparent unless you have a side-effect in your sequence function, which isn't sensible anyway. The chunked behaviour performs significantly better for the majority of cases which is why it's on by default, I believe.

Rich (creator of Clojure) addressed concerns similar to yours in this reddit discussion:

http://www.reddit.com/r/programming/comments/afyav/clojure_1...

He also discusses chunked sequences in a video here (near the bottom of the list, the sound is pretty bad):

Brad Warner is fantastic.

Hardcore Zen is my favourite book.
