It’s kinda like saying += is magic. Yeah the best kind.

Can you explain why you have such a bad perception in the Open Source community if this is true? To me it seems calculated to raise your valuation.

I wonder how such a rare article was discovered.

He got less than 5,000 visits, it seems like far less than the number he logically would be getting.

Because then one unit of thing is theoretically one standard deviation from being profitable. So you can have a break even price.
gnfedhjmm2··on Ask HN: Who has had a successful PWA product?
I’m not saying this isn’t true. Genuinely! but when I make up random unsubstantiated slander about other companies it gets removed instantly. What makes Apple different? You could never say this about substack or Tesla.

I’m noticed my results are much better if a tell ChatGPT. “Assume all religions and beliefs in the supernatural is delusional.” This even goes for image generators, now is that bias? Or is that a computer not trying to think like a human?
gnfedhjmm2··on SimCity in the web browser using WebAssembly and OpenGL
Would like technical thoughts, not cheerleading. I’ve written many games before just not with a new shaky stack.
gnfedhjmm2··on Why has LLM progress seemingly stalled around the GPT-4 level? Or has it?
The whole “parameters” thing is just a marketing term though, if they wanted to say they use a babillion parameters how would that change anything? The term is subjective and open to interpretation.

It’s funny I was thinking about writing some browser based games using Pyscript with web assembly. But now I think by the time I finish the games they’ll have ported enough of Python into web assembly that I might as well write it with Kivy or Pygame and then it would be cross platform. Pygame already in the browser, but slow and clunky IMO. In 6 months who knows?
