From chatting with friends, it works well even for long sentences, but the latency can vary between 3 - 7 seconds. So I wanted to understand how much delay would be tolerated by most people who would be interested in using this.
If you had an automated solution that would save you the time and win most of the disputes, would you be interested in that?
And which would you prefer: a cheaper, on-demand version of iTalki (you get matched with someone already online versus booking in advance), or an AI-based app/service that you can chat back-and-forth with whenever you want?
And how did you determine whether there would be a market for this? Was it more something you built for yourself, or did you have some feeling there would be an audience for this on HN (or elsewhere)?
Of course the US market has way more average citizen debt than a lot of other places, so the two markets would undoubtedly have to be approached from different angles.
For you personally, is there anything that would make this service more compelling? That is, is there anything you feel is missing?
There would be several ways to make money beyond the small client fee, such as by offering businesses involved with these services (loan companies, etc.) clients, etc. There would also be premium services offered to wealthier clients who want to further optimize things such as their investing portfolio, medical tourism packages, etc.
