nice to see another lite XL enjoyer. Neat editor and its stupid easy to write plugins for it.
gherard5555··on Teemoji: Like Tee but with Emojis
I feel like this defeat the goal of emojis and icons: highlight important informations for our brain to process. This is just an overwhelming amount of emojis for me, but I guess it has its usecases

>A technical problem is that during winter, the temperature of buried devices can drop quickly, creating a possibility that the mechanisms of the mine will cease working due to low temperatures in the winter.[5] Various methods were studied to solve this problem, such as wrapping the bombs in insulating blankets.

One proposal suggested that live chickens would be sealed inside the casing, with a supply of food and water.[6] They would remain alive for approximately a week. Their body heat would apparently have been sufficient to keep the mine's components at a working temperature.

It looks soulless, even more than a the generic "hacker man" picture, at least you could tell these were made by a human. For me its one of the lowest "effort" you could put in a picture. Of course thats entirely subjective but personally I hate it and it doesn't seems like im the only one here.

gherard5555··on Telegram will start moderating private chats after CEO's arrest
I get what you are saying, if you report something you saw to the authorities (for example someone about to commit a grave crime) and show them voluntarily the conversation, no problems with that the platform isn't at fault here. But the technology shouldn't allow the platform to get access to the whole conversation, just what you want to show/report. And that would be by design.
gherard5555··on Telegram will start moderating private chats after CEO's arrest
I believe peoples have a right to discuss whatever they want in perfect privacy. A messaging application advertising itself at "private" and "secure" shouldn't bow down at government requests. At least they should have dropped these slogans a long time ago... Anyway peoples aware of that already switched to a superior platform (signal, matrix...)
