genuinebyte··on YouTube-dl's repository has been restored
> Even after a repository has been taken down due to what appears to be a valid claim, we will ensure that repository owners can export their issues and PRs and other repository data that do not contain the alleged circumvention code, where legally possible.

So they have the ability to export issues and PRs already, but it isn't exposed to users?

As a heads-up, the "wannehireme.com/" overlaps your input on Firefox.

The best description of dates and CSV files I've heard by far. Bravo.

"Csv files are a little bit like like dates: superficially simple, with lots of corner cases. Largely for the same reason: lack of standardization."

Hey, this seems really cool! At a glance, they look really well designed. Did you create all of these?

I love this. It's ridiculous and interesting and it's the kind of software I love. Good job! I'm a fan.

Wow, this is awesome! Great concept and a beautiful result!
genuinebyte··on Is anybody still using Windows 95?
I think I know what you mean. I try to wrap at 80 col. and I often need to go back and edit a paragraph, which breaks all my wrapping.

genuinebyte··on Ask HN: What weird or hard problems are you trying to solve?
I don't know what language you're using, but if you want help I'd be happy to do it. I just built an E-commerce site with NodeJS using Stripe as the payment processing (PayPal is next). My contact information should be on my profile.
genuinebyte··on Ask HN: What weird or hard problems are you trying to solve?
This is an interesting idea. I find reading code isn't always linear, so I'm interested to see what you come up with.
genuinebyte··on Ask HN: What weird or hard problems are you trying to solve?
I've recently setup Syncthing and it worked great. I'd appreciate if it allowed me to cut out all relays and just connect directly to my servers, but maybe I just haven't found out how to do that yet.

genuinebyte··on Ask HN: What domain registrar and DNS provider do you use? (February 2020)
Two domain names got bought a week after I searched them on GoDaddy. It could very well be a coincidence, but it's tainted my perception of them.
genuinebyte··on Ask HN: Who to Follow on the Internet in 2020?
I'm really liking the blog of Amos: https://amos.me/. I haven't actually read many articles but I like what I've read.

I know this might be unpopular, but I also like to read Drew DeVault's blog: https://drewdevault.com/

genuinebyte··on Ask HN: What domain registrar and DNS provider do you use? (February 2020)
I use Namecheap for names and the Linode nameservers for DNS. I have a few nanodes (Linode's lowest VPS tier), so it makes sense to use their servers.

I'd like to chime in here and suggest you have a look at PeerTube. https://joinpeertube.org/en/

I haven't tried it yet but it uses the BitTorrent protocol for video retrieval, so there is your magnet link? Of course it is self-hosted if you can't find an instance that'll take you, but it might be a good option.

Hello! Is the code available to look at anywhere? I'd like to stare at it intensely.
