"string together strings of characters" = "manipulate symbols", no?

I can't believe it has been almost 10 years since Twitch Plays Pokémon.

I disagree. $95 glasses are not a luxury good. I think this might have more to do with the relative saturation of the glasses market at each price point, where there was not enough offer for a midrange product before Warby Parker stepped in.

Owning actual cryptocurrency is a huge hassle with concerns about key storage, hot vs cold wallets, etc. Investors are much more likely to already have the infrastructure in place to hold an asset like an ETF, so offering bitcoin wrapped in an ETF presents the opportunity to these investors to get exposure to crypto valuations without getting exposed to crypto hacks.

There is no moat.

Why is that?

Wow, that is odd. Shouldn't it have been the other way around? Anyone can create a diet (everyone has _a_ diet!), but you need to study nutrition to understand it.

Reddit says "typical app user" but Apollo claims that its users make more API requests than is typical for other apps, in part due to higher usage, and in part due to inefficiencies in how Apollo structures its queries.

The reason is that those captchas were helping to OCR-transcribe books. The first word would be known to the system and serve as the actual verification, and the second word would be unknown and serve as you performing free MTurk work.

There is no moat, according to Google

Jack's Flight Club is the UK equivalent.

Wait, did you actually find overpriced water in Greece? I ask because they have a law regulating the price of bottled water: https://greeklandscapes.com/prices-in-greece/#:~:text=BOTTLE...).

In my experience, I was able to purchase 0.50€ water at airports in Athens, Mykonos and Santorini. One trick that I saw some merchants use was to not to sell bottled water at all, or claim it had ran out, and that they only had 7€ Gatorade or whatever.

That doesn't check out, your timeline is not quite correct. Russia invaded Ukraine in February 2022, not 2023. That's before OP even started the application.

> This just devalues cover letters.

They already are very low signal.

> we will end up that you have to attend an in person interview at some intermediary

Do you mind explaining why? I'm not familiar with hard vs soft money.

Could it also recommend a corresponding wall plug that would allow for fast charging USB C to C?

This article doesn't really explain _why_ eating earlier is supposedly better. The only explanation it gives is related to weight-loss. Conflating health and weight-loss is an unhealthy (pun intended) obsession of the media and society writ large. Lots of people do in fact need to gain weight to become healthier. And if eating late at night helps with that goal, then eating later can be considered healthy.

And with ChatGPT, it would be really easy to generate...

It would take me longer to properly iron just one shirt than to drop them all off at the cleaner.

That is a keyboard, for anyone curious.

Access to entertainment and culture is not a luxury.

> Yeah but I would assume the same attack is not going to be successfully against the same target a second time.

That's a bold assumption

You would have sold at $100 ;)

You are mostly correct, but a bit misinformed in two topics. One, the favourite in all the credible polls is Lula. Second, the impeachment of Dilma was due to irregular monetary policy, while Lula was investigated for unrelated corruption charges. And please do not forget to mention that Lula's guilty verdict was invalidated on the basis that the judge was himself corrupt- so now Lula is presumed innocent.

Helsing https://helsing.ai/ is gearing up to be the Palantir of Europe - at least in the military AI field. One of its cofounders was a software architect at Palantir.

RCE As A Service, what's not to like?

Does anyone have a TLDR of major changes or fixes?

Helicopter noise pollution in central London is insane, especially during weekends when there often are protests, demonstrations and special events.
