Two years later, Saurabh decided to close it down but we had by then seen each other's style of working. So for our next startup, we just decided to do it together as co-founders.
Hackr.io is doing well and remains as one of the All-Time Top 50 Hunts on Product Hunt till date.
I'm a full-stack developer with about 9 years of work experience who's worked with several startups in the past including SlideShare-LinkedIn, Naukri.com etc. in various senior engineering and system architect roles. I started SquareBoat in 2013 - a company to help startups build and scale successful web and mobile products.

In my experience, good technical guys are either blocked by large corporations (the Google's and Microsoft's of the world) or are doing something of their own, so finding good cofounder/CTO talent is a big challenge. The cloud CTO model has worked well for a surprisingly large number of startups.
Disclosure: I work on the same model as well.

I have over 7 years of work experience in developing and maintaining large and scalable Web 2.0 applications end-to-end (Conceptualization, Design/UI, Backend and Frontend Coding, Deployment, Server Management, Uptime, Performance, Scalability etc.). People like to call me a "full stack" developer. I have worked for several top-notch web companies in India including Slideshare-LinkedIn, Naukri.com, Educomp, Tata Institute of Fundamental Research etc.
I don't know if I should find this alarming or whether people like me are now "outdated"
1. Yes, but you could mention the name of those mobile apps. 2. You can ask your clients to mention your name in humans.txt
Just my 2 cents to make your case stronger.
