What exactly is "Age Assurance"? Secondly, why would Age Assurance hinder new companies that want to create content platforms?
I think it's very easy to take the benefits of the EU and our resulting prosperity for granted. We need to actually have some power in the US-EU relationship, and the only way is to combine further.
I don't know what that will look like, but I'd like Europe to be able to chart its own course. We know what happens to nations that are at the mercy of countries more powerful.
Sure, you need sales, marketing and the rest of it; it does not mean that you need to forget what made you great in the first place.
I agree with OP. The salary is way too low for a senior European developer to consider because taking a US job means that there are no employment protections that you'd usually get; employment is at will for contractors.
Source: I live in the EU.
I wonder if the differences in society will be exacerbated due to this or if governments will take measures to make commuting and living near workspaces affordable again.
- Sam does not have equity in OpenAI. Does this mean he can potentially be removed at any point in time?
- OpenAI's profit arm will funnel excess profit to its non-profit wing. If this is the case, who determines excess profit?
- OpenAI's founding charter commits the company to abandoning research efforts if another project nears AGI development. If this happens, what happens to the profit arm?
Swearing is a means of stress relief, leading to better code. There are no control groups, but that is an interesting conclusion.
1. Minimise your costs. If you can live with your relatives, do so.
2. If you cannot find a job, work on an open source project that is close to a field that you are interested in. Make sure that you do not have gaps in your resume that you cannot explain. This also allows you to keep your skills fresh and purpose to your day.
3. Invest in finishing the blind 75. These are set of interview questions that if you can understand, and master, you will be able to ace pretty much any technical interview.
4. Make sure you also are prepared for system design questions. There are many books on the matter. Although SDIs can be quite subjective, it is good to have an understanding of what you can do.
5. Do not limit yourself to your town/city/area. Apply for any and all remote jobs that apply to you.
This seems like a cheap shot, if I'm being honest.
