You are right. Short waves, tiny move and you are on another station.

Cool, really happy you like it. I can't decipher/find ONE/Born, thou.

That's cool... I would have a hard time finding a radio-set around, though. Few months ago I spent half of a night watching video streams from tokyo public transit stations, so I guess kid inside is doing fine.

gala8yon Radio Garden

When I was first time in Paris, me and friends were blown away by the sheer number of stations and good, rave-class, electronic music on the waves. We used to wander around the city with walkman's on. Sounds weird... good times.

Also, when I was a small kid, used to go to the furthest room in the house, close the door and lay down with small, pocket radio, catching foreign stations on LW. The further, the better.

Radio rocks. Great mash-up.

Interesting to see from the inside, where it shows so obvious that such tactics are indeed successful on large scale.

gala8yon Show HN: Godspeed is a fast, 100% keyboard oriented todo app for Mac

Apart from it being probably a great app...

"Pay once $149 keep it forever, ongoing compatibility updates + bug fixes, 18 months of new features"

...this is not old skool pay once payment. It is just one payment for 18 months of subscription to new features which makes it slightly more expensive than monthly subscription. Go figure.

Probably not what you are looking for, but Syncthing, Syncthing Fork on Android, if you have LAN. You can switch on only local announce (switch global off in adv. settings).

That's too funny.

I really like the idea and the site looks nice. It's good the list is short as of now, as quality of suggestions is crucial. I'll be absolutely looking at it, sometimes I get really too narrow in focus.
