1. Write defect free software from the get-go

2. Take your time

Lot's of unit testing I'm sure :)

What languages do those industries use?

1. Get a good editor, and watch the syntax highlighting.

2. Start unit testing your code, there are plenty of libraries available for this.

3. It comes with experience.
