Trivial as it may be, I for one welcome this. You have hundreds of tabs opened?
Man, you're doing something wrong. At this point learning how not to have hundreds of tabs opened seems like a bigger improvement than choosing one browser versus another.
I agree with this.
Interestingly, the post is very simple, and not correct. I prefer posts which are slightly more complex but correct, but those don't get as many upvotes.
It's not just the administration. Every time the EU has levied fines against Google a lot of Americans on HN claim that the EU is doing it because they're jealous of how successful American businesses are.
Are you just mindlessly repeating the usual right-wing nonsense that you read somewhere on the internet, or can you back this up with facts?
It's not longer a case of "don't put your time into a closed ecosystem, for your own sake", but "you have the moral duty not to contribute to a closed ecosystem, for everyone's sake".
The developer was doing something imoral and something bad happened to him. It's karma, Kramer.

In particular that changecopyright.org link seems organized by Mozilla, and connects you directly with an MEP.
I disagree. Unless you can show me a first-principle calculation for why a specific number should be "too much", then I don't think it's reasonable to assume that we're either above or below such a number. Don't get me wrong: I agree that such a number must exist. But you seem certain that we're above it, which isn't based on anything as far as I can tell.
This didn't work. Opening that dialog doesn't seem to trigger anything, and I don't see any button within it either.
Weak Yuan is good for Chinese trade, which has an enormous surplus.
What's Lbda though?
I have both normal FF and nightly FF. Before nightly getting the dark hamburger menu I'd never thought much of it. After nightly got the dark menu, now on normal FF I can't help but notice it every time I open the menu, and it annoys me to no end. Funny how these things work.
Who said anything about US gov? If I say "the US sets USD interest rates", responding that "it's not the US gov, it's the Fed" sounds likes you're using an argument that's often used in a different conversation.
Thanks for that.
The market sets the price based on (amongst other things) interest rates, and the US sets the interest rates however it's more convenient for its trade.
Are you saying that one is acceptable and the other one isn't? To me it seems that the difference is one of degree. I'm highly suspicious of anyone who says that this difference is a good justification for tariffs.
That you're repeating an attack that applies exactly to you means you're either ignorant or dishonest.
