frenkel··on Ask HN: How to be SOC2 Type 2 compliant as a solo-entreprenuer?
No, we are EU based and used a local certifier.
frenkel··on Ask HN: How to be SOC2 Type 2 compliant as a solo-entreprenuer?
We are a team of 1 developer and 1 sales/marketing and are fully certified. You can hire an external auditor for the internal audit. We have AI code reviews, so we don’t need an extra developer.

Fastmail supports it too and you can configure postfix and opensmtpd to support it as well.
frenkel··on Goodbye, Feedly
Feedbin is what the author wants. It is even open source.

frenkel··on Show HN: I made a privacy-first minimalist Backblaze
deja-dup. I even believe this is installed by default on distros.
frenkel··on Crystal Installs OpenBSD on the PinePhone
OpenBSD is the place where ssh development happens, as well as LibreSSL and some smaller projects.
frenkel··on Two lines of CSS that will improve HN on mobile (IMO)

What taxes are you talking about? Vennootschapsbelasting? I believe it is a reduced rate for all businesses below a certain revenue.

Did you enable it in the settings?
frenkel··on The most underused browser feature: reader mode
You should give it a try, I've never noticed any important parts missing.

That's super useful for some known bad sites that I use. Thanks!
frenkel··on Updated GNOME User Interface Guidelines are now official
Is there a changelog or “what’s new” page somewhere?
frenkel··on Show HN: I'm building a site to never forget auto-renewing subscriptions again
Today I've added lifetime access for a fixed fee. This will only be available for a limited period of time.
frenkel··on Show HN: I'm building a site to never forget auto-renewing subscriptions again
Lol, yes it's very ironic. For companies there are more benefits though, so for them it shouldn't be that problematic. Maybe I'll make the private user plan free when I find enough company customers.
frenkel··on Show HN: I'm building a site to never forget auto-renewing subscriptions again
Thanks for the follow up! That was my thinking as well.
frenkel··on Show HN: I'm building a site to never forget auto-renewing subscriptions again
Yes, great idea! I'm considering a notes field, as well as a "vendor name" field for this. Maybe even add the ability to group services by vendor?
frenkel··on Show HN: I'm building a site to never forget auto-renewing subscriptions again
Indeed you could use one of those. A sheet can't remind you however and Google Calendar has no financial insight such as Everlint.
frenkel··on Show HN: I'm building a site to never forget auto-renewing subscriptions again
I'm still building on this everyday. Please let me know what's missing or what should be improved.
