The truth is the internet was never designed or intended to host private information. It was created for scientists by scientists to share research papers. Capitalists perverted it.
It's more like a separation between backend and fronend. All the hidden tech goes in the cartridge and your screen and touch inputs are your frontend. Most people like their UIs to stay consistent even when new stronger, faster technology comes around so idk man.
Shits a behemoth tho. The future of AR is in lightweight devices like the meta raybans probably and apple knows that. More people wearing that thing is just bad for the brand IMO.
Pretty cool idea to ship ram and disk space with the application. It makes a lot of sense when you think about it. Imagine if phones worked like that and you could buy a new cartridge every couple years when chip technology improves or if you want to run some hard-core application. Or if you want to attach a new type antenna. My mind is wandering now.
The other funny thing is Google could probably exist purely from its innovations. Its just too hard to convince the shareholders to give up on the safe and lucrative ad business.
Because then the bugs we find in your app contribute back to chrome rather than Firefox. Then over time, chrome a becomes faster and more efficient browser which makes it harder to convince users to switch. Big picture thing.
