He was doing okay until he wrote that everyone is a slave because having to follow "politically correct rules" is itself a form of slavery.
and why exactly would it make you doubt her credibility?
"The dashboard not changing color is related to S3 issue. See the banner at the top of the dashboard for updates." https://twitter.com/awscloud/status/836656664635846656
they just now put up a box at the top saying "We are investigating increased error rates for Amazon S3 requests in the US-EAST-1 Region."

The stuff about Clinton is mostly verifiably false. (see Snopes for example http://www.snopes.com/hillary-clinton-freed-child-rapist-lau...)
That's the difference.
Just what kind of absurd anti-feminist conspiracy theories have you been reading? Are you honestly suggesting that this many of Applebaums colleagues are evil conspirators hell-bent on destroying an innocent man's life? I think you could do with some Occam's Razor and a moment to think about your attitude towards sexual assault and power.
> All you nerdy guys out there, if you don't want something like this to happen to you
If you don't want actively ignoring someone's else's nonconsent and forcing them into sexual contact with you to happen to you- wait wtf?
> learn the dance -- there is a sequence and a pace to these things if you want a woman to feel good
Ah yes, the don't-sexually-assault-people dance. A classic in romantic etiquette. It sure makes women feel good not to be assaulted. Do you read the things you write?
That's utterly comical. It makes me think there should be a The Onion for crypto/infosec news because I haven't laughed that hard in a while. I feel bad for them but thinking they could run a cryptocurrency exchange with a solid zero on the scale of zero to having a clue about security was pure hubris on their part.
Also the author's level of denial about their incompetence is incredible:
"Even the most secure systems can be circumvented with enough time and ingenuity."
"And we were secure and solid for a year..."
"Well, due to some apparent exploit in wordpress, someone, somehow, got into the server tonight, installed some files, and managed to empty the goddamned BTC wallet. Best I can tell it was something with that worthless pile of shit software wordpress." (earlier notice on allcrypt.com)
> Not all reports classified as unfounded are necessarily false. In some cases, women who were victims of rape were disbelieved, pressured into recanting, and charged with false reporting only to be vindicated later on—the kind of awful story that adds to people’s skittishness about discussing false accusations. Some police departments have been criticized for having an anomalously high percentage of supposedly unfounded rape charges: Baltimore’s “unfounded” rate used to be the highest in the nation, at about 30 percent, due partly to questionable and sometimes downright abusive police procedures, such as badgering a woman about why she waited two hours to report a street assault. By 2013, an effort to provide better training and encourage full investigation of all complaints reduced that rate to less than 2 percent.
The problem is that you cannot rely on a police officer's opinion that a rape accusation is false. It could too easily be based on a sexist perception of the woman reporting the crime. The rape of sex workers, women who use drugs and alcohol, and women who have many sexual partners has never been taken as seriously by law enforcement.
On the other hand, we have actual scientific data from the CDC showing that 20% of women have been raped: http://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/preview/mmwrhtml/ss6308a1.htm?s_cid=...
What we need is an equivalent study that asks men if they have ever been falsely charged with rape. My guess is that the number is quite small.
There are lots of good reasons to talk about issues affecting men, but sadly the bad parts of the MRM far outweigh the good at this point. I'd say it's 85% bashing feminism, complaining about women's sexual power (e.g. The Friendzone), denying and minimizing rape as a social problem, etc. and only 15% talking about fathers' custody rights and boys' education issues.
> NOTE: You can increase security significantly if you xor/encrypt zipped files, as they already contain very little structure!
> If your key is too small or if you are using it too often, you may be reducing security.
I hope it goes without saying that this thing should not be taken at all seriously.
