No in-app notifications, no emails, and I was travelling and not following the news closely. I don't think I should have to rely on forums to know if I'm going to have all my data deleted without warning as a paying customer anyway.

Would be surprised if that was this case - vanilla GSuite setup.

I'm not blind, they didn't send one. And they admitted to me that they did not send one.

Are you allowed to inform paying customers that you are going to do this? This is my primary complaint here. I don't understand how this oversight happened. This is going to cause an enormous amount of time and energy to recover from this.

Right? Like just charge me and tell me. Also, while I still think it is way too aggressive how they deprecated free in general, at the very least... maybe uh... I don't know, let me know if you are going to delete my database? Absolutely insane.

So I did not realize this at first (would have helped if I were, you know, emailed some information about this), but my project was still using a free Postgres addon despite being on a paid dyno setup. So that I suppose was nuked along with the general free tier deprecation.
