I was going to post this exact same quote. It is in my clipboard.

Controversial note: When politicians talk about defunding the EPA, people get upset. When the EPA pulls stunts like this, it makes you question their purpose. Seriously, why have regulators that "tip off" the very companies that they are supposed to be regulating?

Vagrant on the existing Mac or develop in the cloud. Why have ANOTHER computer?

I just spent a half-hour reading this very well written article. Very cut and dry explanation of the livestock system. Highly recommend everyone to read.

Interesting tidbit: "But a lot of it has to do with the way we grow our food, and the fact that we mix 100 different cows in a single burger. We never used to do that. The butcher used to take the scraps from that one animal and make his hamburger right in front of your eyes. ... Now, you get one infected carcass, and that meat can spread all around the country, because we have this centralized national system."

Thank you! Remember how cosy each administration is with their left/right leaning media publications.

I love Trello and hope it never changes it's focus on the basics. I use it for simple things like grocery lists, and complex things like keeping track of home renovations. K.I.S.S.!!

I always agreed that pollution should be a higher priority than climate change. The onus is on me to drive a hybrid to reduce my co2 output, but nothing is being done to curb polluting our waterways.

Love it!

I purposely do not watch "shows" anymore. I feel like it is a major waste of time. Bingewatching? Really? Only shows like Mr. Robot are worth my time. There is just too much out there.

During downtime, I watch reruns of The Office (US) and Parks and Rec. Both of those shows have no music throughout the show, just dialog. I use that time to mentally relax, but I am not "into" the show, it is more in the background.

You are far from alone... Likely in the majority. Replace developer with any other type of job.

I like it. Simple and to the point!

Not every business owner is an elite. This makes starting a business very difficult because now you have to pay minimum wage AND healthcare.

THANK YOU! I needed something like this badly. I created my own static image videos using Adobe Premier but it took way too long. Kudos!!!

Market this towards music producers. Mainly those who compose instrumentals. Hip-Hop, Dubstep, EDM, etc...

Beatles had Lennon, McCartney writing, and George Martin composing, also the engineering of EMI.

Stevie did everything himself, writing & playing ALL instruments. Beatles had several session players.

Same goes for HN. I typically read the headline, skim the article, and go straight for the comments!

I had to stop and think... Concealed where?

:)

Serious question from a concerned American..

How much are you learning and more importantly, are you retaining this information? What subjects / topics are you studying?

The reason that I ask, is that I work in IT. If you spent this amount of time devoted to learning a programming language, web design, etc... you would be in an excellent position to work remotely for a company like mine. If you spend 6-9 learning everything under the sun, I think it is kind of a waste.

I actually like it. I think it is well implemented and can be used to play around on command line with different flavors of linux. Well done!

ok maybe I was being a little grumpy...

Is this how the next four/eight years going to be? Liberals labeling anyone who doesn't agree with them a Nazi? Not everyone is either left or right. ALL people are different and have a right to their own unique opinion.

Serious question, will all celebrity (aka tabloid) news be considered fake news? For example, Pop star Jane Doe in relationship with Actor John Smith? Stuff at the supermarket counters.

Side note.. what ever happened to bat-boy? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bat_Boy_(character)

This ^ is the beginning of the end of free press.

Snopes is biased. Police cars are engineered to run 24/7 in the blistering heat with all electronics running. That is why there are specially created models from GM, Ford, and Dodge that are beefed up to handle the stress of every day police use.

Do they actually know how to make these chicken pieces? If so, why can't purdue or anyone else just simply grow chickens? I assume it would save them a fortune.

Perfect! Thank you

I honestly think it was an algorithm that flagged it.

"the traumas of early childhood sow the seeds for a lifetime of anxiety and unhappiness." VERY well said!
