fgribreau··on Ask HN: What projects are you working on now?
I've built something like this called "stretchtext" 3 years ago :)

Here is the demo (use the slider displayed after the first blockquote in the article) https://blog.fgribreau.com/2014/05/fr-stretchtext-retour-sur... or click on "[+]" to go deeper.

The code is open-source here: https://github.com/FGRibreau/stretchtext

fgribreau··on Show HN: Payment update page µservice for Stripe
Hello

I just open-sourced a fully customizable payment update page micro-service for Stripe . It has a small footprint (~8Mb of memory) and is already available as a docker container, launch it and you are good to go !

I needed it for https://image-charts.com/ and https://redsmin.com and I'm pretty sure it will help someone else :) (instead of coding a solution from scratch)

fgribreau··on Ask HN: What tools do you use to build HTML emails?
We built our own library to manage transactional email, you define an HTML and Text template, a meta file and then the library inject your data and automatically inline css, it's for NodeJS but you might take some idea from it https://github.com/FGRibreau/node-transacemail
fgribreau··on In-browser Redis
Too bad it does not listen on a port (maybe using WebRTC), it would have been fun to connect it to Redsmin!
fgribreau··on Check that your Node.js project is well written, secure and follow conventions
I'm sorry, I edited a lot of time the description and indeed "make" does not go along anymore with "hype dev", I removed it, thanks for your feedback!
fgribreau··on Check that your Node.js project is well written, secure and follow conventions
Indeed, if no .jshintrc was present, check-build will fallback on https://github.com/FGRibreau/check-build/blob/master/default...
fgribreau··on Check that your Node.js project is well written, secure and follow conventions
You are absolutely right, if you have a better way of saying this (while still being short) be my guest!

Thanks! I added ClipMenu as well :)
fgribreau··on Dot-clipboard – Monitor your clipboard and run scripts based on its content
Duly noted, thanks! About clipboard-watcher, the support for windows/*nix would be fairly easy to add.
fgribreau··on Dot-clipboard – Monitor your clipboard and run scripts based on its content
Added CopyQ in "alternatives" section, thanks!
