I love PostgreSQL but it's not easy, not horizontal write scalable, not immutable.

In a very quick & dirty read I couldn't understand what it's for. Could someone give me a practical example? I think a practical example is lacking in the introduction.

lol

I love/hate the bad humor of HN.

Congratulations! This will attract beggars not only from the US but from all over the world!

What about the images?

There is a practical problem: AWS has a very restrictive policy for deleting sub-accounts.

From: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/organizations/latest/APIReferenc...

"You can only close 10% of active member accounts within a rolling 30 day period. This quota is not bound by a calendar month, but starts when you close an account. Within 30 days of that initial account closure, you can't exceed the 10% account closure limit."

I have create so many accounts that when I had to erase them I was stuck in this stupid limit.

Is that possible to make it by software without performance degradation? I'd like to install some Linux daemon that simulates an HDD sound to feel nostalgia. :-)

I don't know why, but this is so cool.

ASK HN: Is there a similar mode to Emacs? I didn't find it.

Now it's time for the next step: build another CPU inside that one.

But there are a lot of sh1tcoins that is similar to ETH POW and then can be exchanged to the real asset: Bitcoin.

I am making a new proj and this tool will be really useful for me! Thank you.

But... How? It's missing how to do it (measure value) in the article.

Politely? You were kind.

So S.A.D. haha! Loved the name.

Yes.

Really? Why?

Paywall.

Paywall

Great! This is really useful.

Is it possible to customize / extend? Apple? Twitter? Facebook etc?

It's because there are a lot of good languages but no one single great "surreal" database. (I'm not saying the SurrralDB is "the one").

I love this kind of bad humor of HN.

It would be nice to be an emacs extension. :)

Don't say! I think we have a Sherlock Holmes here.

By the way, "Duck Duck Go" seems to be a terrible marketing name.

Put the word "porn" on the title and get trillion upvotes.

Or just people that work in field don't watch so much porno.

Aaaand... skin cancer.
