felipebueno··on Node.js Application Hosting Service running on Digital Ocean
I have some questions and, please, don't get me wrong, I'm not being sarcastic. I am really interested in your services.

I got a cheap server on DO I use to deploy some apps just for testing purpose and, sometimes, I think I waste too many time configuring, breaking stuff and fine-tunning my servers (I do like it but it's not very productive). The languages I play with are Python (Django and Flask), PHP (Symfony2 and Wordpress) and Javascript (Node.js/Express).

My questions are: Why would I choose Stackful.io over Digital Ocean? Will it help me with that?

If you are "so done" you can choose not to read it. Or you could change the fonts by hand. Or you could use some addon (like Readability or Evernote Clearly) to make it better. There are many options available to make you enjoy the content wich is really what matters. Aren't you a hacker?
felipebueno··on You know, Google, the web already had this feature
Yep! I'm using it right now and I liked it very much. The power of Google with privacy. Thanks, man! =)
felipebueno··on 7 billion people on 1 page
I was playing around with Humbit and actually it is pretty cool =). But it is not that useful and gets boring after a few minutes. You could make it more dynamic or something to make users want to use it more.

I know, I know, the "evil" thing was a bit exaggerated. I know they are a big corp (like Microsoft, Apple, Oracle, etc) and need to make (big) money (no matter what it takes) to maintain it's infrastructure. I just don't like that and that's just my opinion.
felipebueno··on You know, Google, the web already had this feature
Thanks, man! I'm going to try that. =)
felipebueno··on You know, Google, the web already had this feature
Yeah, it was a (poor) joke =P. But I really don't like Google anymore and I'm going to avoid their stuff.
felipebueno··on You know, Google, the web already had this feature
Hey, thanks, man! I didin't know that. :)

I used to be a Google fan as well. Not a BIG fan but a fan. In late 2010 I decided it was time to move on from Google. It took a while but I already went back to Firefox (nightly), started moving my emails to fasmail.fm (with my own domain so I'm not tied to anyone), I'm trying to use only DuckDuckGo (it's difficult... I have to admit that Google is unbeatable yet), stopped using google+ and Google Reader (since 2011), avoiding Google Talk, Analytics and Web Master Tools, etc. I think I'll make it to the end of this year. They are evil.
felipebueno··on How much sleep do we really need to work productively?
I think you'll like this idea: http://sefsar.com/the-alarm-clock-as-an-mmo-game/ =)
felipebueno··on Saying Goodbye to a Sister
What is that?
felipebueno··on Saying Goodbye to a Sister
It was not Brian that posted it here but you can talk to him on twitter @bb. I shared this link here because it's not possible to comment on his blog.
felipebueno··on Saying Goodbye to a Sister
You're right. I posted it here because I feel really sorry for Brian and wanted to share his words.
felipebueno··on Browser Wars Revisited
I can't tell you how many times I've told myself that I wish the INTERNET just dies. One day, I'd love to just focus on having a good real life and not have to worry about all these "virtual life" things.

Sorry for the joke but, sometimes, it is really what I think. =)

felipebueno··on Browser Wars Revisited
Me too. I switched back to Firefox after 2+ years using Chrome. But it's more because I like Mozilla's way of doing things, principles and filosofy. And I'm trying to avoid stuff that companies like Google offers.
felipebueno··on Why Visual Basic is (supposedly) better than C#
Not sure if the article is a joke or sarcasm or something but the author makes some good points. I use VB.NET in my daily job and Python for my side projects. I like both (but Python is definitely my favorite language) and I like it because it is really simple to read and to write. I know some C like languages too and use it a lot (Javascript) but that curly-braces and semi-columns thing feels just annoying to me.
felipebueno··on Download a Fresh Copy of The Pirate Bay, With Permission
Yeah, think of the hundreds or even thousands of up-to-date mirrors we could have if they did something like that.
felipebueno··on Ask HN: What you think of the domain name I choose?
Thanks! Rabiscaria is a derivative of the verb "rabiscar" wich is something like "to scribble" in english.
felipebueno··on Ask HN: What you think of the domain name I choose?
Wow, that was rude =p... I'm pretty sure there are lots of writers (technical, fiction, etc) here on HN. I already bought some books of writers I've met here. But thanks anyway.
felipebueno··on Download a Fresh Copy of The Pirate Bay, With Permission
It would be very cool (and useful) if they put that in some kind of version conrol (git, svn, etc).
felipebueno··on About Codeacademy Downtime | What Happened Yesterday
"99% of users were not affected.". Unfortunately I'm in the the 1% group that were affected... I lost a lot of stuff that worth many hours of work. =P
felipebueno··on SDL based Lua programming environment for kids similar to Codea
Loved the Commodore-64 style editor! =D
felipebueno··on Browse Amazon, Randomly
It's pretty cool! But I didn't like the name too =p... One more thing: 'n' and 'b' shortcuts not working on the Firefox (17.0.1).
felipebueno··on Ask HN: How do you escape CRUD jobs?
What about Richard Stalman (before Linus), the Apache Group (before Linus) and Mozilla? And I am pretty sure there are plenty more examples.
felipebueno··on Making Games the Hacker Way - Tonc GBA
I realized it's time to learn how a computer really works. I actually know how they work in theory but now I want get my hands dirty working close to hardware. And, because I love games, love making games and love the GBA, I haven't found better way to do that. =)
felipebueno··on Xkcd 404
I've found that when I was scraping the XKCD comics and get the error. Very clever comic! =D
felipebueno··on Xkcd 404
Got it? =D
felipebueno··on Xkcd 404
I'm pretty sure that (http://xkcd.com/404) is the actual 404 comic =). It is the only one "missing". http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xkcd http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HTTP_404
felipebueno··on How to Download Your Instagram Photos and Kill Your Account
Hahah loved this part: "That’s it. Of course you’ll need to find another photo service to see photos of meals and your friend’s feet." ^_^
felipebueno··on Gmail.com was down
My Chrome crashed several times as well
