Even though I've made a few apps It still is really hard to get an idea of how big projects come together. It can be hard to organize everything so it isn't one big mess!

As a solo developer I dont have a superior telling me "this is how the code is organized" or "when doing this. use this pattern instead". This is going to help me a LOT I'm not about to rewrite months of code but now I'll have a frame of reference of how things should be.

Might be smart to mention in the title that its just an unstable release.

Could someone please enlighten me on how to connect both a readable and a writable stream.

For example I want to convert an image and then stream it to S3.

if I use knox https://github.com/LearnBoost/knox it has a way to read a stream from a file and then publish to s3.

But how can you take a stream from http://aheckmann.github.com/gm/ and stream it directly to knox or anything else for that matter?

Isnt all of this still under NDA? I dont think you can really talk about this yet.

There were rumours a while ago that Valve was working on Linux support for their infamous source engine which powers most if not all their games. What if it wasn't just support for linux but Steam running on a Valve tailored Linux kernel. Obviously most games would still need Windows for DirectX but all of Valves games and many others could work on this super thin Linux kernel.

I belive that this is the future. With things such as Backbone.Sync written to communicate with websockets(via Socket.io). We can Keep Backbone models in sync easily.

Fog Creek's new Trello syncs data using websockets as well. Its quite effective and works well. Trello also falls back to a regular short-polling system if it needs to.

I love libraries as much as the next guy. I would love to study at them. But as a student I dont want to study at a place that closes at 5pm on a Saturday. I usually dont want to start studying till 4pm. Compared to my local Starbucks that closes at 11pm.

I love studying at my school campus. Its open 24 hours and relatively quite. If libraries could stay open longer I would frequent them a lot more.
