fakir··on Ask HN: What is your repeatable marketing process?
Really depends on your budget. The most effective way in the shortest possible time would be with AdWords. You can outbid buffer/others in your industry and your website will show up ahead of them. Keep in mind that you will need to bid more and will need a decent budget.

Organic marketing will take time. Take a look at companies like Intercom, they dont market their product but create great content around the target market. Intercom has actually published a great e-book on this. The other option is to build interactive pieces like calculators. This should be focused on what happens if the customer does not leverage your product and potential revenue/other metrics they could be missing out on.

fakir··on Ask HN: How did Dyn fail to fend off DDOS?
If these are connected by cellular, they are given a private network that does not connect to the public internet and are in-accessible from the public internet unless the app provider explicitly chooses to do so

You should add a button that says "Report broken link". For example the My UNIX cheatsheet under ssh is broken. What do you think?
fakir··on Can you trust TechCrunch enough to share their stories?
You are kidding right? I have seen NYT and WSJ break more "tech" stories than TechCrunch. Also when did TC move from covering startups to being tabloid central? I am surprised at some of the sensationalism of the headlines and the repeated bashing of the telcos gets old. Why dont you guys learn a thing or two from GigaOm?
