And yet, self taught ML algorithms have mastered Chess.

Imagine not being able to get somewhere because your car has caught a cold.

More like your 30+ millionth cousin.

Probably because it's ignoring the start of very next sentence in an attempt at sarcastic wit.

  > The net volume loss in natural lakes...

I really enjoyed Giri and Caruana's commentary. I can't really understand chess at the WC level but listening to them explain it along side IMs shows that even IMs are in similar a position. Sure they understand more than I do but they miss most of the deeper or sutbler ideas.

Then we're at the tragedy of the commons and no one will.

Who is going to be paying for "large fixed industrial unit with an industrial-scale energy supply"?

Genuine question, is it a good start? When does become not a gimmick? At 0.5g/km, 5g/km or 100g/km?

Or as fuel for fire. (Once dired)

Reminds me of Ender's Game.

No doubt the correct answer is "it requires research." But I guess the answer is going to be "it depends, on the individual and the circumstances"

"I take full responsibility"

Translates to "I accept it's my fault but I am still going to sack you."

Reminds me of Mary Poppins "When fall the banks of England, England falls!"

> get testosterone to normal level

I'd be keen to what normal levels are and what you were instructed to do to get them to normal levels?

Watman!

It's a research project. It's open source. FPGA are often used for developing hardware. If it gets good enough for someone's use case, they will print the chips.

> There's this characiture of American culture and the idea of our meritocracy

But earlier

> if I work hard and have a little luck, I'll get by. A little more luck and I'll be successful. A little less, and I might need to rely on my family or community.

This isn't a meritocracy that you are describing

A dynamo connected to a resistance will do. An old bike had a dynamo connected to a rechargeable light, the bike felt heavier the more the battery depleted.

Alternatively get a Turbo trainer or rollers with resistance for stationary training. Lots of people love it but it's not for me, though rollers aren't bad but the it gets very hot even outdoors with a fan.

I find it interesting to that people don't use WhatsApp at all. Many posts here are claiming not using WhatsApp is impossible. Grandparent's experience demonstrate that it is.

My comment was about "I would also be wary of average vs. median"

Saw a video of Price saying that his minimum salary may have indirectly raised housing costs in his city and that is not a problem he can solve but something that the city must. I don't know the figures but I would guess that any effect that he had caused was minimal.

He really does come across as great guy. If I was more local I would probably look to work for him.

Pedantic note. You probably mean mean (or mode) vs median. They are all different types of averages (amongst others).

I really liked that about this article. Social Media sites are full images of that illustrate the point.

Pedantic note:

Female Tiger + Male Lion = Liger.

Male Tiger + Female Lion = Tigon.

How does Lombok help to avoid this?

Assuming the omnipotent creator exists. If he/she/it doesn't exist then the question is hypothetical.

Being an arsehole has been making a comeback since about 2010. She's just following the trend.

I am not a physicist. But obvious question is why would the energy not coalesce back to equal matter and anti matter?

Works really well for well for. Keeps my kids safe from what I am reading. I even have the pin lock enabled for the same reason.

You missed a triathlete computer programmer.
